Perfect Bliss

"Self acceptance
is the beginning
of true meditation.

When you fully allow
everything to be
exactly as it is
then you transcend
that level of experience.

You allow the body to
be as it is
and your awareness
expands beyond the body.

You allow the emotions
to be as they are
and your awareness
expands beyond emotion.

You allow thoughts to
be as they are,
and your awareness
expands beyond the thinking.

If there is any urge
to change something,
improve something,
then there is conflict
and you remain stuck
in that which you wish
to change.

Many see happiness
as some future goal:
'If I can heal my emotions,
if I can stop reacting in this way,
if I can be free of these memories,
if I can stop my thoughts
then I will be happy.'

And so there are all
of these different modes
of healings and therapies
and belief systems
giving you the illusion that
if you just work on yourself
hard enough and long enough
then you can be a perfect person.

And nothing could be farther
from the truth.

I am not knocking
self improvement,
it has its purpose,
but it also gives you the illusion
that some time in the future
you will be good enough.

Which means you are not
good enough now.

The underlying
condition of self improvement
is that how you are in this moment
is wrong.

You are a glitch in the system
and you need to be fixed.

Yet from your natural state
of pure awareness
everything is perfect
as it is.

Not as a judgment
but as an obvious truth.

So when you enter meditation,
accept yourself as you are.

This is not
'I love myself as I am'
or any other psychological therapy.

It is to accept everything as it is
all the way to the core.

You let it all be exactly as it is
without any involvement.

You let go of trying
to do it,
trying to control it
and allow that
which cannot be known
to take over.

Because then you relax into
the essence of that experience.

And the essence
of all experience
is consciousness.

One all encompassing
perfect consciousness
that lights up the whole show.

That is
the whole show.

And the nature
of consciousness
is bliss.

Perfect bliss.

Blessings,

Kip"

[It cannot feed on your attention because the attention is a very high frequency.]

Thought is a lower frequency.  It's all the same.  Thought is like (makes a low frequency noise), and attention (makes a high frequency noise) (much laughter from audience and Eckhart chuckles).  And then at that moment the pain body is no longer your personal problem. It is not a personal self anymore.   It is...has become - the expression doesn't exist but I'll use it - it has become unselfed.

Liberation

Liberation means freedom from your psychological past.  The 'person' cannot be liberated because the person is the psychological past.

Some aspects of the past are necessary in this moment.  For example, memories related to how to drive your car and how to do your job are practical and are not part of the psychological past (i.e., ego or ëperson').  The psychological past is that realm of memories with which you identify and that you call "me."  That set of memories can never be liberated.  Liberation is timeless, free, unconditioned, loving, light, and open.  The psychological past is time-bound, limited, repetitive, self-centered, conditioned, heavy, and closed.  To say that the me is closed simply means that it is a finite set of ideas in which nothing truly new arises, much like a tape recording or a repetitive loop of conditioning.  It is rarely open to the simple wonder and mystery of this moment.

Liberation is the direct realization that you are that wonder and mystery.  It is the effortless embrace of life freshly in each moment, without carrying the content of the loop into it.  No ëperson' can ever do that because the person is that loop.

FACT: THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN CONSCIOUSNESS

RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.

(Continuation...)

Now go back to the mind's activity that's always moving and passing on in time. Its activity never is present. It's like the constant sweep of the second-hand on a watch, which never quits moving. Time never stops passing to be, to be present, to be what truly is. Time seems to flow non-stop: as the future, that-which-is-not-yet, instantly becomes a past, that-which-is-not-anymore. Time is literally a state of that which is not!

Here's the kicker. Every single sensation that the human mind experiences about its universe-every sight that is seen, every touch, every sound heard, every taste and smell-as well as every thought and emotion-all occur or are constantly passing on in this flow of time. On that level, you can't stop it-everything experienced by the human mind always is moving on, passing away, and not being present.

PART V: QUESTIONS ASKED AFTER COMPLETING THE PRESENCE PROCESS

1. A friend is struggling with their life experience, how do we  persuade them to do The Presence Process?

(Continuation...)

The deepest level of compassion arises from understanding that real human suffering is being unaware we are responsible for our thoughts, words, and deeds. One of the most challenging accomplishments in life, and this pertains particularly to those closest to us, is to let another walk their own path so they experience an opportunity to learn this lesson. Of course, when they approach us and say, "Is there another way? My way does not work. You cope with life differently. Can you assist me or point me in the right direction?", then we are invited in and given license to enter their realm of activity. Our pearls therefore do not land in a swine pit.

Peace And Happiness Are Inherent In Consciousness

(Continuation...)

Likewise, as images fade from the dream state, Consciousness remains as it is, and this presence of Consciousness without objects is referred to as deep sleep.

At no stage in the transition from the waking state to deep sleep does Consciousness ever experience a change in its own presence or continuity.

Chapter 84

Your Goal Is Your Guru

(Continuation...)

Q:  I must select my Guru rightly.

M:  Be the right man and the right Guru will surely find you.

Q:  You are not answering my question:  how to find the right Guru?

M:  But I did answer your question.  Do not look for a Guru; do not even think of one.  Make your goal your Guru.  After all, the Guru is but a means to an end, not the end itself.  He is not important; it is what you expect of him that matters to you.  Now, what do you expect?

From Above...

(Jordan highlights or comments on quotes from the teachings above

Michael Brown:  "compassion is not the act of diving into someone else's life and rescuing them out of sympathy and concern. Compassion is being present with them as they go through their life lessons."

Jordan:  It seems people are not able to be rescued, anyway.

So, doing process therapy like EMDR,  is not about trying to rescue someone, it's about being present with them and using the EMDR process to thaw-out frozen neturo-networks, which increases their ability to be present.  Through that, what is needed will happen.
+++++

Michael Brown:  "This is challenging, especially when our own dramas are not yet resolved, because then we are driven to assist them through reflection, in hopes of easing our own inner discomforts."

Jordan:  This is the challenge of any person who attempts to assist another; instead of trying to 'fix' another's apparent problem, you sit with your own discomfort as the challenging situation that brings them to you, is explained.

+++++

Rupert Spira:  "...an absence of memory is not a proof of non-existence."

Jordan.  He's referring to sleep.  We don't remember the time during sleep but we know something happened.
+++++

Nisargadatta:  "And when you know yourself-you are the other. "

Jordan:  That fits perfectly with what Micheal said, above.
