Advanced Self-Inquiry
"In meditation, one of the greatest things you can do is become aware of how thought identification happens. Become aware of the process of thoughts arising and the action of being attached to identifying with those thoughts.
There is a feeling of contraction behind it, a feeling of stress.
A feeling of constantly holding on to something that is flying all over the place. And if you can recognize that attachment then you can begin to let go of it. You can begin to rest in non attachment where thoughts are never even given the power to fully become a thought. You will find if you remain un-identified to thinking,
the power that makes thinking happen dissipates and thoughts can slow down and even stop altogether.
And then what is left is impersonal radiance, a power that expands and consumes everything that may arise back into itself like a blazing fire of consciousness. So you see it is not what you know, how you act, or even what your experience is that is important.
We are looking behind all of that.
We are looking at the first action of identification that turns the whole thing into a personal you with a personal mind and a personal story. We are breaking that attachment to creating that identification and recognizing what is left.
Remaining in what is left.
It may not be blissful or peaceful or loving. You can't look to get something out of it. You are stopping the creation of what is looking for bliss in the first place to remain in what is undeniably here underneath it all. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. [And that's freedom, the arising of the witnessing presence.]
You don't need to....so, it is not necessary to find some strategy for fixing yourself, as far as the pain body or anything else is concerned. "How can I? This isn't right, I shouldn't have a pain-body. How can I fix myself?"
It's not necessary, not that you would even succeed. See it. The seeing is freeing, and then less and less are you identified with the movement of the pain arising.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

July 28th No self The realization of no self is not a position. It is not a philosophy or belief. To speak about it, however, one must enter into the dualistic realm of language. The moment you begin talking about "no self," it sounds like a position. But the realization of no self is the actual seeing that you are only emptiness (i.e., not the mental position or belief that you are emptiness, but rather the actual realization). Once that emptiness is realized, it is seen that emptiness arises as every mental position but that there is no self to attach to any of the positions. This pointer is not suggesting that you should not take positions. That, in and of itself, is a position. It is simply an invitation to look within, to that which is prior to all positions. It is an invitation to see that there is no self there to attach to any position including the position that there is no self.

FACT: THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN CONSCIOUSNESS
RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.
(Continuation...)
Put it this way: if you weren't now being, if you weren't now consciously present, you wouldn't even exist to have questions or care about this. But you do exist; you are now present and aware.
To see the Truth of this, try a little test. Try to make Consciousness not be.
See if Consciousness, the pure Awareness you are presently aware of being, can be taken out of being present. Can Awareness somehow be taken away so It isn't being present now, but is backed up to five minutes ago? Or can Awareness be pushed ahead by five minutes, so It isn't being present now? Try as hard as you can to make pure Awareness move or pass away in time so It isn't being. The more you try, the more you see the impossibility of it. Awareness truly is.

PART V: QUESTIONS ASKED AFTER COMPLETING THE PRESENCE PROCESS 1. A friend is struggling with their life experience, how do we persuade them to do The Presence Process?(Continuation...)
Interference is to act out of fear, to believe something wrong is unfolding in another's life. Interference stems from a belief that another's behavior adversely affects us; we therefore feel compelled to sedate or control them with our good deeds and advice. Indulging in interference stems from believing we are not responsible for the quality of our life experiences. When we know we are, we know another's experience cannot affect us, and no matter how devastating anyone's circumstances appear, they are always experiencing the consequences of their own thoughts, words, and deeds. We also know that when someone is going through a challenging time, it is their drama. It passes. Our emphasis is therefore not on their drama, but on the going through. |

Peace And Happiness Are Inherent In Consciousness
The mind, the body and the world appear to Consciousness, to 'me,' to 'I.' They are objects and Consciousness is their subject, that which experiences them.
Consciousness, that which we call 'I,' is always present in every experience and does not disappear between experiences.

Chapter 84
Your Goal Is Your Guru
(Continuation...)
Q: When both the disciple and his teacher are inadequate, what will happen?
M: In the long run all will be well. After all, the real Self of both is not affected by the comedy they play for a time. They will sober up and ripen and shift to a higher level of relationship.
Q: Or, they may separate.
M: Yes, they may separate. After all, no relationship is forever. Duality is a temporary state.
