Witnessing
"If you observe your experience in this moment, then you are not controlling this moment in any way, you are not involved with it in any way. From witnessing, there is the flow of energy that is happening, that is arising by itself, that is creating the movement of all phenomena in this moment.
The thoughts arise in this flow of energy, the sensations arise and change in this flow of energy, it is all the flow of one energy, arising out of consciousness and dissolving back into consciousness. The energy takes the shape of certain thoughts and then the thoughts dissolve back into energy and then the energy forms into other thoughts, or other emotions before dissolving back into energy.
So you see in this there is nothing to change.
Whether you experience loneliness or joy, it is all the flow of the same energy.
From the witness it is all a flow of the same bliss.
It is complete and perfectly content within itself. It is simply a matter of letting go of this need to control, change or distract yourself from this moment.
You let go of that actual contraction of identifying with this moment, of being involved with thinking and rest as the witness, and then there is just this beautiful flow of energy, the nature of which is bliss. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. [And so, and then detect, you can detect pain-body in others. "Oh, there it is!"]
If you don't know what it is, sometimes the mind will say silly things like, "I suddenly saw his real face." It wasn't his 'real face' it was his pain-body. "I suddenly realized who she is underneath that sweet exterior." (ET chuckles and group laughter.) It's not her - it's just a pain-body.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10
To Scott Kiloby
|
 | | Scott Kiloby |
July 12th Missing enlightenment Enlightenment is apparently missed not because it is difficult to obtain. Enlightenment just means presence. Presence seems elusive but it is actually immediately accessible as the very life that is in this moment. Instead of feeling into the simple fact of presence, the mind wanders through time looking for enlightenment, believing that it is somewhere else, in some other time, or in some concept. Actually, presence is not obtained or missed. It is what you are right now. That is either recognized or it is not. The notions of obtaining it or missing it are ideas appearing and disappearing in presence. The reason enlightenment appears to be missed is because the mind overlooks the simple fact of presence and, instead, gets entangled into a simulated me or ego that lives in time and that believes that the past is its identity and the future holds the key to its freedom. That is the lie. Awakening from that dream means simply noticing what is already here. Everything is already here. The simple fact of presence is already here. The simulated me is a movie resulting from identification with thought and emotion. But that movie itself is arising in presence. In realizing that it is simply a movie and not your real identity, identification with the movie dies. Presence (i.e., enlightenment) is revealed to be what you really are. Enlightenment is that simple, way too simple for the mind. |

FACT: THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN CONSCIOUSNESS
RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.
(Continuation...)
As you read, you'll see why Consciousness is not the same as what is called the personal thinking, sensing "mind." They're vastly different. To assume Consciousness is confined to an intellect and five physical senses of seeing, hearing, touch, taste and smell is way short of the mark. The so-called human thinking, sensing mind deals only with that which is limited or finite. It constantly needs to expand and progress out of its limitations. It always looks out beyond itself to something greater- always looks up to a God, Self, or Consciousness.
What about starting from the other direction?
Instead of looking up to the Self, what about looking out from the Self?
That's what the Self or Consciousness Itself is doing. It never looks up to Itself, and It is the only One being conscious right here, now.

When we love, value, appreciate, acknowledge, and validate ourselves, we cannot stick a needle into our veins and inject junk into our precious body. How could we? We do this to ourselves because we hate ourselves. We hate ourselves because we cannot yet perceive ourselves. When we are waiting for the world to step forward and love, value, appreciate, acknowledge, and validate us, so we feel good enough to not hurt ourselves anymore, we wait for eternity. It is not the world's responsibility to accomplish this for us. The world does not owe any of us anything, least of all love. We must stop behaving as though it does. The world is a mirror; it is neutral. Its job is to reflect us.

What We Are, It Is
(Continuation...)
Anything objective that can be said about this Reality belongs to the realm of mind or senses, to that through which Reality is manifest, and so cannot be inherent in it. However, we can say that Reality exists, that it is, that it has Being. So we are left with the understanding that, when experience is divested of name and form, when experience is divested of the individual faculties through which it is perceived or apprehended, only the presence of Consciousness and Existence remains. §

Chapter 83
The True Guru
(Continuation...)
Q: Then by what is reality known?
M: How misleading is your language! You assume, unconsciously, that reality also is approachable through knowledge. And then you will bring in a knower of reality beyond reality! Do understand that to be, reality need not be known. Ignorance and knowledge are in the mind, not in the real.
