(I'd like to offer a series of love poems for my Beloved Ramana. Please note that I refer to Him variously as Ram, Rama. and Ramana, as He is an embodiment of Divine Consciousness, ultimately without a name at all.)

Impersonal Attention
"If you close your eyes and stop thinking even for a second you will discover all that is here is impersonal attention.
So a good meditation technique is to keep your focus on this impersonal attention.
Which is really saying turn your attention back upon itself until you are clear enough about attention to simply rest as impersonal attention. If thoughts come, you simply keep your focus on this impersonal attention that is the back drop to all thinking. You never allow your attention to latch on to the thoughts and leave this moment, rather you remain steadfast in attention itself. Blessings, Kip" "In meditation you are not moving in a linear line going from one place to another.
Rather you are moving deeper into this moment.
So the most important part of meditation, if you are practicing the path of awareness is to allow yourself to rest in this moment. To allow everything to be exactly as it is and relax into it and sink right through it. This sounds quite easy, but when you are constantly looking forward, trying to attain something trying to get somewhere, then when you actually try and rest in this moment, you are confronted with something that you want to escape.
It's like the closer you are to no separation you really feel that sense of separation the strongest. When you are busy looking forward in time or backwards in time then you have successfully escaped fully feeling separation. But the moment you give up this linear movement you are confronted with what is here. And then there is the need for complete surrender, to fully allow yourself to sink into feeling what is here.
To fully immerse yourself into what is here beyond the thoughts, the emotions, and the physical sensations.
There cannot be any looking for it to be a certain way.
You cannot look for there to be a payout.
But the moment you give up this constant urge to move forward towards something, and sink into this moment,
you are immersed in peace. And then the practice is to relax more and more into the depth of consciousness which exists outside of time.
To sink deeper and deeper into the eternal stillness of this moment that lies beneath all movement.
Blessings, Kip" Please Note: Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 [And the mind - every negative thought gives fuel to the emotion so it adds to the pain body.] And the egoic entity, a large part of the egoic entity is pain-body. So, that's why the moment you're trapped in the vicious circle of pain-body and mind activity, it is a form - one could say - of addiction to pain...an addiction to emotional pain. |

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

June 27th Effortlessness Enlightenment is the natural, effortless state. Effortlessness cannot be achieved by effort. The person who is trying to achieve enlightenment is actually obscuring the natural, effortless enlightenment that is his true nature in this moment. The word "person" here refers to that thought-based story in the mind that resists life and believes that it can and must control life and manipulate outcomes. That story is applying effort in an attempt to achieve a future goal - whether it be the resolution of conflict, happiness, romantic love, a better appearance, material success, or spiritual growth. Enlightenment is realized only in the absence of that entity who is applying effort towards future. Effort emanates from the underlying idea that the person is somehow separate from life and other people and that he therefore must resist life and others in order to bring about change. In seeing that this is just an idea, all the energy behind the effort releases and there is only 'This.' This is the expressible realization that you are not a person living in time. You are the present awareness in which that story arises. That is the end of effort. |

Our True Body
(Continuation...)
[There is only Consciousness, there is only Being, which simultaneously creates, witnesses, expresses and experiences itself in every experience we have.] What We Are, It Is The fact that there is experience tells us two things. It tells us that there is Consciousness, that whatever it is that is conscious, is present and aware, that it is witnessing or experiencing whatever it is that is being experienced.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |

(Continuation...)
Our allegiance to the illusion of separation-consciousness is the causal point of all the fear manifesting in the universe. It is irrelevant as to what form the face of this one fear mutates for any of us, because energetically it is the same fear, one we have carried with us for millions of lifetimes. We have carried it since the beginning of time. Therefore, the question is: Which lifetime are we going to zero in on and isolate as the cause of our fear? Whichever one we choose is the one most appealing because it is the most dramatic. In this way we are romanticizing this energetic dysfunction by using the ego and the thinking mind as a means to make this selection. The only place this condition can be resolved is here and now, and the way to accomplish this is through entering our emotional body; by allowing ourselves to feel it as it manifests in our life experience right now. |

Science has also revealed that our DNA can cause disturbed patterns in a vacuum, producing magnetized wormholes and microscopic black holes (similar to the black holes left by burned-out stars in the universe). These holes act as tunnel connections that can transmit information instantaneously, free of the restrictions of space and time. There are an infinite number of these tunnels in the universe. Our DNA attracts these bits of information and passes them on to our sub | | Thought |
conscious. We can access this information by promoting communication between our subconscious and our consciousness. Most people have had at least glimpses of experiences of this hyper-communication by spontaneously gaining information beyond general knowledge, an experience we usually refer to as intuition or telepathy. |

Chapter 82
Absolute Perfection is Here and Now.
(Continuation...)
Q: It is all a matter of gunas. Where tamas and rajas predominate, there must be war. Where sattva rules, there will be peace.
M: Put it whichever way you like, it comes to the same. Society is built on motives. Put goodwill into the foundations and you will not need specialized social workers.
Q: The world is getting better.
M: The world had all the time to get better, yet it did not. What hope is there for the future? Of course, there have been and will be periods of harmony and peace, when sattva was in ascendance, but things get destroyed by their own perfection. A perfect society is necessarily static and therefore, it stagnates and decays. From the summit all roads lead downwards. Societies are like people-they are born, they grow to some point of relative perfection and then decay and die.

Michael Brown: "by allowing ourselves to feel it as it manifests in our life experience right now."\
Jordan: This is not changing any experience. It's not about what happened or didn't happen and it's not about what's 'supposed' to happen. +++++ +++++
Nisargadatta: "From the summit all roads lead downwards. Societies are like people-they are born, they grow to some point of relative perfection and then decay and die."
Jordan: That's pretty grim...
