By Ana Ram Callan
(I'd like to offer a series of love poems for my Beloved Ramana. Please note that I refer to Him variously as Ram, Rama. and Ramana, as He is an embodiment of Divine Consciousness, ultimately without a name at all.)

Impersonal Attention
"If you close your eyes and stop thinking even for a second you will discover all that is here is impersonal attention.
So a good meditation technique is to keep your focus on this impersonal attention.
Which is really saying turn your attention back upon itself until you are clear enough about attention to simply rest as impersonal attention. If thoughts come, you simply keep your focus on this impersonal attention that is the back drop to all thinking. You never allow your attention to latch on to the thoughts and leave this moment, rather you remain steadfast in attention itself. Blessings, Kip" "In meditation you are not moving in a linear line going from one place to another.
Rather you are moving deeper into this moment.
So the most important part of meditation, if you are practicing the path of awareness is to allow yourself to rest in this moment. To allow everything to be exactly as it is and relax into it and sink right through it. This sounds quite easy, but when you are constantly looking forward, trying to attain something trying to get somewhere, then when you actually try and rest in this moment, you are confronted with something that you want to escape.
It's like the closer you are to no separation you really feel that sense of separation the strongest. When you are busy looking forward in time or backwards in time then you have successfully escaped fully feeling separation. But the moment you give up this linear movement you are confronted with what is here. And then there is the need for complete surrender, to fully allow yourself to sink into feeling what is here.
To fully immerse yourself into what is here beyond the thoughts, the emotions, and the physical sensations.
There cannot be any looking for it to be a certain way.
You cannot look for there to be a payout.
But the moment you give up this constant urge to move forward towards something, and sink into this moment,
you are immersed in peace. And then the practice is to relax more and more into the depth of consciousness which exists outside of time.
To sink deeper and deeper into the eternal stillness of this moment that lies beneath all movement.
Blessings, Kip" Please Note: Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. June 25th The cycle of suffering You are doing the laundry and a story of yesterday's argument with your spouse arises along with anger about what he said. In the unconscious state, thought grabs a hold of that story and does not let go. You analyze and rehash the details of the conflict with your spouse and formulate a rebuttal that you intend to bring up when the argument continues with your spouse. Before you know it, this story has a hold of you. You spend half the day thinking about how you are right and he is wrong. You feel resentment towards him as you replay the story. You are in the cycle of suffering. Throughout the day, various temporary thoughts and emotions, such as the story of the argument with your spouse, arise and fall. Suffering happens only because consciousness gets stuck on some temporary thought or emotion that arises. The me does not want to let go. It wants to be right - feel vindicated. The goal of the me illusion is to keep the sense of separation and self-centeredness alive. Notice the temporary thoughts and emotions that arise throughout the day and the 'larger' inward space in which they arise and fall. When you find yourself holding onto a story, simply notice it. Attention returns to the inward space. You step out of the illusion of me and into the simple truth. The truth is that laundry is being done. It's that simple. |

Our True Body
(Continuation...)
[Consciousness knows itself as everything.] It realises that everything is included within itself and is an expression of itself. It goes beyond subject and object. Subject and object collapse into that which is behind, beyond and within both. We could call this Being. Consciousness becomes something, then nothing, then everything, and yet always remains itself.

The same fear is now being used as a tool to push our attention away from the state of being making it possible for us to assist ourselves; present moment awareness. It is now being used to drive us mentally into places appearing real now, but which are illusionary. This is the disadvantage of entering emotional body awareness artificially, through drug use, before we acquire the resonance of personal responsibility, discernment, and containment; while in this artificially induced state we believe what we see, hear, and feel during these experiences to be real. Our current fearful experience is undoubtedly connected to our past lives, but our authentic access to it is to be found in and through this life experience. |

 | | Ivan | Appendix II (Continued... As changes are made in our physical body, they are registered in our DNA, which is found in every cell of our body. DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is a crystalline structure receiver, transmitter, and amplifier of frequencies of "light." It carries the codes of our physical characteristics and contains a hundred trillion times more information than our most sophisticated storage devices. Our DNA is responsible for the construction of our body. It also performs the functions of data storage and communication. Scientists have decoded only about three per cent of the mapped huma | | Thought |
n genome. All life forms - everything from humans to animals and plants - share the same codes. In other words, the basic instructions for life are encoded with the same DNA language. Because DNA code follows the same basic rules of syntax, semantics, and grammar as all human languages, there's no need to decode our DNA. Instead, we can simply use consciousness to influence and change our DNA. |

Chapter 82
Absolute Perfection is Here and Now.
(Continuation...)
Q: What is the change of consciousness at the moment of death?
M: What change do you expect? When the film projector ends, all remains the same as when it started. The state you were before you were born was also the state after death, if you remember.
Q: I remember nothing.
M: Because you never tried. It is only a question of tuning in the mind. It requires training, of course.
