The Depth of Consciousness
"In meditation you are not moving in a linear line going from one place to another.
Rather you are moving deeper into this moment.
So the most important part of meditation, if you are practicing the path of awareness is to allow yourself to rest in this moment. To allow everything to be exactly as it is and relax into it and sink right through it. This sounds quite easy, but when you are constantly looking forward, trying to attain something trying to get somewhere, then when you actually try and rest in this moment, you are confronted with something that you want to escape.
It's like the closer you are to no separation you really feel that sense of separation the strongest. When you are busy looking forward in time or backwards in time then you have successfully escaped fully feeling separation. But the moment you give up this linear movement you are confronted with what is here. And then there is the need for complete surrender, to fully allow yourself to sink into feeling what is here.
To fully immerse yourself into what is here beyond the thoughts, the emotions, and the physical sensations.
There cannot be any looking for it to be a certain way.
You cannot look for there to be a payout.
But the moment you give up this constant urge to move forward towards something, and sink into this moment,
you are immersed in peace. And then the practice is to relax more and more into the depth of consciousness which exists outside of time.
To sink deeper and deeper into the eternal stillness of this moment that lies beneath all movement.
Blessings, Kip" Please Note: Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. [And you are completely 'identified' with feeling bad about the bad weather. And complaining.] So, you have an added force to what was already bad enough, you cut yourself off and now your whole identity is reactive. And you take that to be the truth - the 'bad weather' - and then you have a personalized 'reactive' relationship to the bad weather. The so-called 'bad weather.' |

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

June 18th Surrender Surrender is one of the hallmarks of non-dual realization (i.e., enlightenment). At first glance, when you hear about the spiritual principle of "surrender," it may sound as if you need to do or become something or someone in order to be more surrendered. No. Surrender is an attribute of your natural state of presence. The separate self contraction cannot become surrendered because the contraction is resistance to what is. If there is nothing you can do to gain surrender or be more surrendered, why even discuss surrender? Surrender is what is already here in this moment under all your efforts to obtain something from others, from life, and from the spiritual search. It is what is here in the absence of resistance to what is. In order for surrender to be realized as an attribute of presence, notice the mental and emotional seeking and resistance that appears to obscure presence. Instead of doing something, notice what is already being done. Notice the ways in which thought and emotion are resisting what is and seeking something from others, from life, and from the spiritual search. In allowing these movements to meet the light of awareness, there is no more attachment to the movements. What is left is the natural rest of surrender. In that natural resting, it is realized that presence was never really obscured. There was merely a misperception happening. You falsely believed that you were the separate self contraction. |

When we come into this life to resolve the issue of sexual abuse, we are exposed on some level to the experience of sexual abuse before we turn seven.
It may be an event happening to us, or one we perceive happening between others in our midst.
By the time we turn 14 this issue is translated into a mental belief system about our sexuality.
By the time we turn 21 it is an issue dominating our physical experiences around sexuality and intimate relationships.
This dysfunctional energy keeps resurfacing and repeating in our life experience as a pattern, in some form or another, until we experience enough awareness to bring consciousness to it, to take responsibility for it by integrating it. |

 | | Ivan | Appendix II (Continued... The holograph uses laser-coherent light of the same wavelength to produce three-dimensional images in space. Unlike a linear perspective, a holographic perspective is a complete multidimensional frame of reference. A three-dimensional image can be cut into many pieces, yet each piece remains capable of reproducing an image of the whole. Similarly, changing a single component of the holograph simultaneously changes every other component. | | Thought |
Our universe is a projection from a level of reality beyond the horizons of our comprehension. Essence expresses itself as a hologram, a projection of no-thingness in which everything originates. The holographic universe is a single consciousness with an infinite number of simultaneously coexisting ways to experience it." |

Chapter 82
Absolute Perfection is Here and Now.
(Continuation...)
Q: I can see the picture, but who is the painter? Who is responsible for this terrible and yet adorable experience?
M: The painter is in the picture. You separate the painter from the picture and look for him. Don't separate and don't put false questions. Things are as they are and nobody in particular is responsible. The idea of personal responsibility comes from the illusion of agency, 'Somebody must have done it, somebody is responsible.' Society as it is now, with its framework of laws and customs, is based on the idea of a separate and responsible personality, but this is not the only form a society can take. There may be other forms, where the sense of separation is weak and responsibility diffused.

 From Above...
(Jordan highlights or comments on quotes from the teachings above |
Scott Kiloby: "Notice the ways in which thought and emotion are resisting what is and seeking something from others, from life, and from the spiritual search." Jordan: One way to notice thought and emotions is by feeling the body. Not just during meditation, but all the time. If a thought thinks resistance, then an emotion will feel and the body will have a feeling or sensation. Thought has a hard time detecting itself as being the one who is creating the resistance. Emotions tend to distort and intensify thought making it even harder for thought to make self-corrections. So, noticing feelings or sensations in the body is more effective because they are prior to the thought, and they are prior to the emotions. And thought may not feel threatened by body sensations because it doesn't understand in that moment that they are connected. +++++ Michael Brown: "When we come into this life to resolve the issue of sexual abuse, we are exposed on some level to the experience of sexual abuse before we turn seven. It may be an event happening to us, or one we perceive happening between others in our midst. By the time we turn 14 this issue is translated into a mental belief system about our sexuality. By the time we turn 21 it is an issue dominating our physical experiences around sexuality and intimate relationships. This dysfunctional energy keeps resurfacing and repeating in our life experience as a pattern, in some form or another, until we experience enough awareness to bring consciousness to it, to take responsibility for it by integrating it." Jordan: Worth repeating. +++++ |
