Updated Qld Manual Tasks Code of Practice
The Manual Tasks Code of Practice 2010 replaced the Manual Tasks Code of Practice 2000 in February this year.
The new Code of Practice has a clearer layout, and places special emphasis on consultation by dealing with consultation up front in a separate chapter (Chapter 4) . Otherwise the Manual Tasks Code of Practice remains unchanged.
This Code continues to be a useful guide to managing the health and safety of workers who do physical work. By following the Code your Organisation can demonstrate a commitment to meeting your obligations under the Workplace Health and Safety Act, 1995.
