John's pick of the week!

I'm John Jones, Director of the Community Services Department.  This is our twelfth edition of the Torrance eNEWSLETTER, another way to find out what's happening in the great City of Torrance.  Each week I'll give you my picks of what you and your family can do in Torrance.

I also what to encourage you to attend the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting for the naming of a new park plaza located on the north end of El Prado Park in Downtown Torrance.  The project is part of the City's celebration of its Centennial.  The meeting is December 14, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the West Annex Commission Room at 3031 Torrance Boulevard.  Click here for all Commission Agendas.
