I want to offer a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to those of you who generously contributed to Captive Hearts for copies of the Grief Recovery Handbook for their women who will be participating in the upcoming Grief Recovery Workshop in Arroyo Grande / Grover Beach. See below if you would like participate in the 10-session workshop yourself.

Frequently Asked Question:

"Do you only see people for counseling who are dealing with grief?"

That's a reasonable question since my website definitely leans in that direction.

The answer is, I see men, women, children and couples for counseling for a variety of concerns including:

  • Reducing anxiety
  • Managing depression
  • Anger management
  • Improving marital relationships
  • Addressing the wounds of abuse
  • Controlling panic attacks
  • Improving parenting skills
  • Reducing stress
  • Family counseling
  • Managing addictive behaviors
  • Divorce or relationship break-up recovery
  • and more

From twelve years of experience working as a church lay counselor, I realized that most people I ministered to had experienced an element of grief in their struggles.  This motivated me to seek specialized training in Grief Recovery through The Grief Recovery Institute.

If you are wondering if something you are dealing with might be helped by counseling, give me a call at (805) 242-3569.

I'll be happy to answer your questions and give you some ideas on how we could work together to help you achieve your goals.  There is no obligation. This is simply an opportunity to introduce ourselves to each other.  I hope to meet you soon!
