As Congress makes important decisions regarding the national budget and deficit reduction, we need you to show your support for Crossroad Health Center and community health centers across the country.

Crossroad currently faces financial threats as a result of actions already taken by and proposals being considered by Congress:

1. Federal support for the expansion of health centers has already been reduced and further reductions could dramatically impact existing health centers, and
2. Proposals to change the Medicaid program could undermine the financial stability of every health center - potentially reducing health center revenues by half.

Crossroad is participating in state and national efforts to preserve, strengthen and expand our community health centers. We need support from everyone who believes that every person who needs a health care home should be able to find one at a health center like Crossroad.

Here's how you can help: 

1. Send letters to our U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives. Click here for a letter to Senator Sherrod Brown, Senator Rob Portman, Representative Steve Chabot,  and Representative Jean Schmidt
2. Participate in the National Mobilization Day on October 13, 2011 by calling our members of Congress 
3. Join the Campaign for America's Health Centers
