Gold: $500
Silver: $250

In addition, Gold level winners receive an AHA banner to display proudly at their school. All winners receive a framed plaque and community recognition as well!

Application Process

In order to apply, schools MUST submit their intent to apply by February 1, 5 pm. Then AHA will email a PDF of the application, as well as a link to the online application. All applications are due by March 1, 5 pm.

Wake County Public Schools Superintendent Tony Tata will join AHA on May 30 to present awards to the winners!

Parents and teachers are encouraged to talk with school administrators about applying for the awards. AHA applauds what schools are doing to create a healthier environment for students and staff!
