New Heritage Greens Website

A new website has been created for our neighborhood and is now ready for residents to begin using. Visit it at www.heritagegreens.org

Log In Information
Each household has one account. The user name is the email associated with the address. If we have two emails for your household, only one of them will be the user name. The password is a random set of letters and numbers. Your log in information was emailed to the email address associated with your address. Please check the emails of both adults to find your log in information email. If you did not receive your log in information please contact me at news@heritagegreens.org

Updating Your Profile - Resident Directory
One of the first things you should do when you visit the website is update your profile. Click on Your Profile on the left at the top. Please fill in as much information as possible including:
  • Change your password to something you can remember
  • Add information for the second adult in your house if there is one
  • Add your cell phone numbers
  • Add the names and birth dates of your children
You may choose not to show your profile or certain personal information, but I encourage you to leave all the "Show" questions as Yes. This is the Heritage Greens Resident Directory and replaces the printed book. Only residents will be able to see your information, not the public or spammers. So fill in all the details now and if you ever want to hide your information later, you may do so.

Welcome
Now start looking around. Under Welcome you will find the information that is available to the public. This includes an overview of our neighborhood, information about advertising, houses for sale in the neighborhood, and how to contact us.

Residents
Under residents is the information only available to residents. Everyone must log in to see this information. The next time you visit you will not need to enter your log in information again if you use the same computer and browser. Here you can find information on volunteers, architectural compliance, HOA documents, upcoming social events, the pool, tennis courts and how to reserve the community room.

Message Board, Classifieds, Find a Sitter
There are also great tools that we can use as a community. The Message Board allows you to post your own message to the neighborhood. Be sure to click My Subscriptions at the top to choose the topics that interest you. There is also a Classifieds page so feel free to post what you want to sell, or what you are looking for, and be sure to include a photo. There is also the Find a Sitter page where baby and pet sitters can post their information and let the neighborhood know they are looking for business. All residents are able to post their own content on these pages so give it a try.

Resident Directory
And don't forget all the information in the resident directory. You can search for friends and neighbors by their name or address.

If you have any questions, problems or concerns, feel free to contact me directly.

Moms, Pops and Tots Halloween Party

The annual Heritage Greens Moms, Pops and Tots Halloween party will be held on Sunday, October 21st from 3:00 - 5:00 at Linksview park.  All ghouls and goblins should wear their costume and be prepared for fun and games.

Parent volunteers are requested to help set up and decorate the area from 1:30 - 2:30.  We would also like to request help from middle schoolers to help assist with games and centers during the party.  If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to beththompson@remax.net

Heritage Greens Community Garage Sale

garage sale

Heritage Greens-You Rock!

Thanks to Anne Kocur for organizing yet another successful community garage sale.  Beside the massive profits generated by all of those unloading things we couldn't use any more, the garage sale raised $400 for swim and tennis.  Way to go!

Thank you to everyone who participated.

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse

Reuse: To all of you who wanted to donate after the garage sale, we apologize for the glitch in getting your information so we could schedule the pick-up. We hope you were able to find an organization.

Reduce: Put those fall leaves directly in your trash bin or a recyclable bag so that they will break down at the dump.

Recycle: Make certain that you recycle your cfl light bulbs at a certified recycler, not your trash bin!!

Missy Franklin Event Video Trailer

We are all so proud of our own Heritage Green Gator, Missy Franklin, and her success in the Olympics. Our neighborhood came together and threw her a welcome home party to show her our support.

My name is Endsley Eggert and I am currently a junior at Chapman University. I am a student of the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts and had the privilege to work along side my partner, Kanan Hooker, to film the event. I am in the process of editing the video for the event but in the meantime created a trailer so everyone can preview it. Click here to view the trailer.

Please be on a look out for the official event video in the November's newsletter. I hope you all enjoy and congratulations to Missy!

Luminaries and Butter Braids for Swim Team
luminarias
The holidays are just around the corner, and the neighborhood will once again be aglow with luminaries supporting the Heritage Greens Swim Team. Look for more information in the November newsletter.
