A Beautiful Beginning
The sun is shining on a brand new year, full of potential, holding the promise of countless good things to come. The campus is alive with activity, anticipation, wonder, laughter, and love...and it's beautiful.
The very fact that your children are here, experiencing this extraordinary education is an indication that your children mean the world to you. Thank you for entrusting the school with the education and care of what is most precious to you.
With great enthusiasm, we look forward to the many gifts this school year will bring. Thank you for being an important part of our community.
Sincerely,
The WSOC Faculty and Staff

Waldorf Education for Adults
Our New Foundation Studies Program
Begins Next Weekend, Sept 14-15
Foundation Studies is a two-year course of study which can be taken as a 'stand-alone' introduction to Waldorf Education, or as the first half of our four-year part-time WSOC Teacher Training Program.
If you've ever thought about this educational adventure for yourself, now is the time to join.
If you have the desire to learn, but don't quite have the time to enroll in the entire program, you can enroll in individual courses which are anywhere from 1 weekend to 12 sessions. Most of the courses are taught by some of our own WSOC faculty, including Chris Bennett, Robin Theiss, Kurt Faerber, Angie Meier, and Kimberly Telfer-Radzat. Where you can explore topics such as: Child Development, Dante's Divine Comedy, the History of Music, Eurythmy, Form Drawing, Handwork, and MORE.
It's an excellent opportunity and we're so fortunate that it's right here!
Learn more about the individual sessions.
This brochure explains the full program in detail.
If you're interested, we can help you in the office or you may get in touch with Chris Bennett, the program's director. His contact information is on the attachment.

Well Wishes
We are so happy to share with you that our own dear Miss Deborah, (Deborah Parish), has accepted a position as a class teacher in a Waldorf Charter school in Oregon. This is a wonderful opportunity for Deborah to share her warmth and her Waldorf teacher training and experience.
Please join us in sending her our best wishes and gratitude for all that she has offered to us through her years here at WSOC. You will find a card to sign for her and/or contribute to a community gift in The Company of Angels, or you can contribute at the front desk in the office.
