We thank two wonderful parents, Cynthia Sandoval Dardis and Steve Pope, who recently stepped down from the Board.

Cynthia's expertise in the field of employment law was invaluable to the school but more importantly her availability to us and her objective viewpoint allowed us to work in confidence.

Steve's financial expertise and input has been instrumental to the Board for the past three years. The financial forecasting model he created allows the Board to make informed decisions based on projected income and expenses.

Both these Board members will be very much missed not only for their knowledge but also for their active and positive participation. We are blessed to continue to have them both in our community as parents and available to the Board on a consultative basis.

Thank you Cynthia and Steve!

WE ARE GETTING CLOSER

We are very grateful for the participation in this year's Annual Giving campaign.  The volunteer phone-a-thon staff is hard at work NOW to bring our participation from 70% to 100%.  If you already have an understanding of why Annual Giving is a necessary part of our extraordinary school, then we highly encourage you to save our volunteers the time of having to call you.  Envelopes are in the main office or you can go to  www.waldorfschool.com/annual.   Otherwise, please accept the phone call as a kind reminder (from a volunteer parent) of why 100% commitment from our parent community is the goal.  Thanks!

    12TH GRADE PROJECTS

Thursday, March 29

6:00 - 8:00 PM

As part of a year-long project, each of the 12th Grade students generated and have been living with "a question."  On March 29, they will share with us the experience and process of delving into their question in a 5-minute presentation.

Following the presentations, the community will engage interactively with the students regarding their experience in a fair-like atmosphere.  You are invited and encouraged to come share in this moment with them, as the interactive component actually depends on you.  This is open to students grade 7 and up and adults.

No younger children, please.

Coach Hugh Brennan is extremely proud of their season and their sportsmanship.  For all you sports fans who wanted to be there for the big game, but couldn't, please read the  attached....this is Coach Hugh's play-by-play of how the game transpired.  Congratulations team!

FROM THE PARENT ASSOCIATION

The Company of Angels is in urgent need of Slice of Heaven bakers to bring goodies in the a.m. after drop off. Cookies, cupcakes, and other scrumptious single-serve goodies (sets of 12 are best) welcomed. All proceeds benefit our school! Currently we have once-weekly shifts available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We encourage people to commit to at least a few months. If that seems daunting, you can share a shift with a friend. It is a really great, uncomplicated way to show your support for our school.

Click on the link below, sign in with your email and you will be directed to the baking calendar. It's super easy.
