ZANY SUCCESS
A zillion heartfelt thanks to the WSOC community for stepping up and stepping out for this event. We had a wonderful and sometimes wacky time, all in the spirit of celebrating and raising funds for our school. Thank you for your enthusiasm both at the event, and behind the scenes. We extend the warmest thanks to the huge team of people who made it spectacular . Our calculators are still flying. We're trying to get our hands on the zaniest pictures and the concrete bottom line, so we can report the results to you. It should be any moment now, but unfortunately we couldn't make the deadline of this newsletter. Please stand by..... Liz Wenger, Erica Ruvalcaba & Denise Ogawa

GRADE 5 LEARN THE ART OF INDIAN DANCING
A few words from our fifth grade students... On Tuesday, October 28 the fifth grade class took a short trip to the Eurythmy hall to watch a performance done by Ms. Rayma, a Indian dancer who has been dancing since she was six and has been teaching for 30 years. She performed a dance about Chrishna fighting a evil snake. Then she taught us some Indian dances. We learned a few gestures to show moon, stars, fish and river. We also loved our Indian costumes. Thank you! Tessa Taylor On Friday we did Indian dances in the Eurythmy hall at about 8:40. I like Indian dancing and Indian music. Indian cultural is very different from ours. The class were very different from ours and I would like to do it again. Joseph Klocke On Friday, the fifth grade went to the Hall and watched a Indian dancer and then she taught us some dances. It was hard when we had to start dancing. Cody Thomas
