We are looking for crafters to teach and/or learn how to make handmade products for a WSOC Craft Boutique that will be open to the public.  Please contact Denise Ogawa, [email protected].

WILDCATS MOVE-A-THON SUCCESS  

MAT 2011 Running Thank you students for a great and successful Move-a-Thon.  Thank you to the 12th grade for organizing a really fun day, to the older students for providing leadership within their groups,  and to the parent volunteers for spirited support and yummy snacks.

 

The event raised $17,173 for our school.  Very well done.

The class participation winners are...

1st place = 1st Grade, who wins $300 for their class

2nd place = 4th Grade, who wins $200 for their class

3rd place = 2nd Grade, who wins $100 for their class

 

A whopping 54 students qualified for the $150+ drawing.  A huge congratulations to you all, and thank you for doing your best to support you school.   

This is quite an accomplishment.

 

In a blind, random drawing that occurred in the office this morning, the winners of the raffle prizes are:

*Viking Skateboard & Helmet - Madison Makoff

ANNUAL GIVING UPDATE 

Thank you to everyone for participating in this year's campaign and for your incredible support of our school.  We are currently at a strong 92% participation school-wide.  The campaign remains open until July 31, 2011.  We are still striving to reach 100%, as it greatly enhances the school's outside funding efforts.

 

As we continually work to improve programs and bring you the best that we possibly can, we are looking for your feedback.  Please take a moment to complete this 1-minute survey on Annual Giving.  Thank you.

STRINGS CAMP with DEBORA WONDERCHECK

CAMP 1: Intermediate/Advanced String Camp 

Dates: Monday, June 20 - Friday, July 1

Cost: $275 

Have fun playing modern and unique music in a focused and relaxed atmosphere.  Students will strengthen their reading and playing skills while receiving one on one attention that will successfully prepare them for next year.  In class presentation on the final day of class.  

 

CAMP 2: Beginning Strings

Dates: Monday, July 5 - Friday, July 15

Cost: $250 (instrument not included)

$280 with instrument 

Learn how to play violin/viola or cello in two weeks!  This beginning class lays the foundation and builds an interest in future string playing.  No experience required but do arrive with an instrument.  Contact Mrs. Wondercheck for instrument rental info if needed.  In class sharing on the final class day.  

 

Hours: 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

 

MISS T'S POLYNESIAN CAMP  

Come join the fun with music, dance, crafts, stories, and food from the South Pacific.
