SPRING CLEANING OPPORTUNITY
Happy Spring!
Our school would love to start your spring cleaning off with a bang. On Saturday, April 30th, from 9am to 1pm we invite you to come to the school and take care of some spring cleaning.
We will be providing you an opportunity to do secure on-site shredding of any sensitive documents that might be cluttering up your home. This will also benefit the school! Read all the details in the attached flier.
At the same time we ask you to stay a while and help with campus beautification as we spruce up the campus for May Faire. We will only be doing light work like weeding, planting and putting out fresh mulch.
Don't miss this chance to take care of some spring cleaning for yourself and for the school!! We are partnering with Sergeant Shredder, a local Orange County shredding company that provides an on-site, secure shredding service. For more information, CLICK HERE.

MOVE-A-THON
PRIZE INCENTIVES NEEDED
We are looking for the donation of possible prize incentives for this year's Move-a-Thon. Examples might be a new skateboard, bike, pair of roller skates, you get the idea. Does anyone have a connection to someone who might be able to help us out with this?
Please contact Denise Ogawa in the office.
Thanks.

AFTERCARE DONATIONS NEEDED
It's that time of year again... our imaginations are still running wild with craft ideas for the kids but our supplies are running low. We are all about recycling and reusing things to create some fun craft projects, so we are asking for people to set aside some things that they might otherwise get rid of.
Here is the list of what we need:
- Plastic berry baskets (the ones that strawberries come in)
- Wine corks
- Empty plastic containers with lids (like sour cream or yogurt)
- Foam meat trays (cleaned and dry please)
- Empty coffee cans with lids (any size)
- Kleenex tissue boxes
Also on our wish list, we are in desperate need of a vacuum. If you have an extra one lying around, we sure could put it to good use in the aftercare trailer.
Iron beads are another constant request from the kids. They love to make these and our supply is completely gone. We are sure that any donation would make them happy.
If you have any of these items or come across them in the future, then please bring them to the aftercare trailer. We know the kids have fun making these projects and the aftercare staff would be appreciative of any donation.
Thank you for all your help and support,
The Aftercare Staff

REBUILD NEW ORLEANS
HERE WE GO - We're off to New Orleans!
AWSNA already has 55 people (alums, grandparents, parents, teachers, students!) signed up to be in New Orleans April 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2011, helping the Waldorf School of New Orleans and the St. Bernard project to help rebuild New Orleans.
In addition to our many supporters, there are two eighth grades that have chosen this for their 8th grade class trip! The turnout is substantial, which is not surprising given the strong spirit of service that lives in our Waldorf communities.
Still wish to be in New Orleans but can't come?
Go to Just Give and in the "Find a Charity" box put in: Association of Waldorf Schools Minneapolis.
