Thanks for a
Beautiful Day!
A warm-hearted thank you to everyone who supported this year's golf tournament. We couldn't have asked for a better day or for a more wonderful group of people. We entertained about 70 golfers and 125 dinner guests, many of whom were from outside our WSOC community. Thank you to the golfers for your spirited play and support of our school. Thank you to the dinner guests, all the many auction donors, and to our sponsors for their incredible generosity. A special thank you goes out to all our volunteers for making it happen out there: Elizabeth Shier-Burnett, Gina Clarke, Trae Diede, Chele Eades, Shauna Forsum, Sandy Meadows, Peter Meuter, Christi Olsen, Erica Ruvalcaba, Allison Severn, David Tabone, Pam Thompson, Linda Timmons, and Brooke Tomblin.
If you missed it, and are curious about what took place, we have golf programs available in the office.
Sincerely,
The Golf Committee
Colum Clarke, Kent Kerbs, Colin Severn, and Donald Sun

Spring Shredding Fundraiser
Happy Spring! Our school would love to start your spring cleaning off with a bang. We are sponsoring a "Spring Purge" shred day on Saturday, April 30th, from 9am until 1pm (or earlier if the truck fills sooner). Not only will it help you get rid of old files and documents (old tax documents, personal paperwork, client documents, etc.), but it is a fundraiser for our school as well. We are partnering with Sergeant Shredder, a local Orange County shredding company that provides onsite, secured shredding service. For more information, CLICK HERE. |
The Company of Angels
Our school store is filled with lovely new items and the garden is in bloom too! Stop by for a cup of tea and take a moment to soak in the beauty. Take a look at Nona's flyer listing new items and highlights. |
Call for Yearbook Photos
The Yearbook crew needs photos. Please submit your digital photo files for consideration to Piet Agle, piet.agle@sbcglobal.net. Be sure to identify the photo with the class(es) of the students in the picture. Student's names are helpful too. If the photo is event specific, add those details as well. Our yearbook team will be working hard on this project over the spring recess, so please submit photos by Friday, April 8. If you have too many to email, please contact Piet Agle. Thanks! |
May Faire Flower Donations
Our May Faire is coming up on Saturday, May 7. It is not too early to secure flower donations! Use this donation letter to go into flower shops or grocery stores. Each family is required to bring in 2 buckets of flowers. Look for more information on our May Faire in next week's newsletter. |
Move-A-Thon
Sponsor Needed:
Do you have a connection with a gym or a fitness or health organization? We are seeking a sponsor for this year's Move-a-Thon. It's a nice opportunity to support health and fitness and promote themselves within our community. Please contact Denise Ogawa if you know anyone. Thanks.
Prize Incentives Needed:
We are looking for the donation of possible prize incentives for this year's Move-a-Thon. Examples might be a new skateboard, bike, pair of roller skates, you get the idea. Does anyone have a connection to someone who might be able to help us out with this? Please contact Denise Ogawa in the office. Thanks.
