CAMPUS EXPANSION UPDATE

The campus expansion continues to move forward.  This past week we have been reviewing a possible revision to the ADA path of travel.  Originally it was going to go out in front of the kindergarten classrooms to the handicap parking in our main lot.  We soon discovered that the level and the slope of the sidewalk did not comply with regulation.  In order for it to comply we would have to tear up the asphalt and concrete from next to Barbara's pre-k classroom all the way to the handicap spot.  There seems to be another option to put the ADA path of travel alongside the fire access road, this would eliminate the additional work of tearing up existing sidewalk so we are currently looking at the viability of this more efficient and cost effective option.

ACCREDITATION

           UPDATE

We are continuing to prepare for the accreditation team visit in February. Our self study has been completed, bound, printed, and mailed off to each team member. Thanks to the joint efforts of all involved in this monumental task. The self study will be available on our website soon.

Daily Pilot Handwork Article

Last week, the second grade hosted a very nice reporter and photographer from the Daily Pilot to teach them a thing or two about handwork.  The handwork was beautiful and the children, even better.  They were stellar students and more than happy to answer a question when quietly asked by the reporter.  Please check out this great story.  Thank you Grade 2 and Miss Angie for sharing your work!
