A Hearty Thanks From the Development Desk
Wow! During the first week of school, I was met with enthusiastic people coming from every direction to help with Development this year. Thank you all! There is much going on in Development, so these are highlights for the next few weeks:
I am off and running with a huge team of volunteer supporters behind me.There are too many of you to list, so I will simply say this....Thank you for giving of your time and thought to benefit the school. It is appreciated more than words can express. Remember, when you help Denise, you help the school. Keep it coming! In gratitude, Denise Ogawa

An Enlightened Evening
Our Fall Benefit and Auction Please join us for our first all-school, social event of the year...to dine, dance, and celebrate under the light of a full moon...
October 23, 2010 Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club
on the Nature Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo 4:30 p.m.- 11:30 p.m.
The formal invitation will be in your mailbox next week!
Please RSVP before October 8!
- You don't have to wait for the invitation to RSVP!
- No more long lines when you arrive! We have streamlined our process allowing you to pre-register as an auction bidder.
- If you purchase tickets for multiple guests, we want to know their names and contact info. This is so they won't have to register at the event and stand in line.
- Why October 8? We need to confirm a head-count. Please do your best to not keep us guessing. If you are buying multiple tickets and don't know the name of your guests, we can add that information later.
PLEASE DONATE NOW! we need your help! Donations can come from your family, a business-affiliation, or even from a local business you frequent (such as a favorite restaurant). Our auction items from years past have beautifully represented our community's interests, talents, and wishes. Here are the individual forms needed to both solicit auction items and to donate an item. If you'd rather submit your item online, you can do so HERE. PDF forms: All proceeds benefit the WSOC operating budget

WSOC Cook Book
Thank you to everyone who sent in a recipe! We were hoping to inspire more of you to contribute...we know how many fabulous chefs we have as we've been to the potlucks and birthday parties. What you all make is amazing. Maybe you have a family favorite meal or dessert you could share. We want those yummy recipes. If you only have a printed copy, bring it in to Marissa at the front desk and she'll make a copy. We have started a box to collect recipes in the office, just slip it in there. Or email it to Julie Fish at rovefish@hotmail.com. We are very confident we can make this cookbook a reality and a moneymaker for our school. Please join us on our journey toward creating this WSOC keepsake! Any questions, give us a call. Thanks, Julie Fish (714)505-2290 and Dee Klocke
