Coastline is Seeking Nominations for the 2012 Board of Directors

At the Annual Meeting in February, the Nominating Committee will present a slate of nominees to fill all Board of Director vacancies for the term beginning 2012.

What are the Eligibility Requirements to be Nominated?

· Must be a Coastline member in good standing.

· Must be willing to serve the entire term.

· Incumbents can be re-nominated.

· Can nominate yourself or someone you think would be a worthy addition to the Board of Director's leadership team.

Nomination Procedure

To nominate oneself or another Coastline member:

1) Contact one of the Nominating Committee Members below any time from now until November 15, 2011 to let them know you are interested or answer any questions you may have.

2) Request a Nomination Petition Form from Coastline's President/CEO Wayne Harubin by calling (904) 346-1700, ext 204.

3) The Nomination Petition Form must have a minimum of 160 qualified members' signatures.

4) Turn in the Nomination Petition Form to a Nominating Committee member any time between November 15, 2011 - January 3, 2012

5) Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting in February 2012.

Originally "Credit Union Day" (CU Day), the formal appreciation of credit union members and workers as well as the pioneers of the credit union movement has two beginnings. The first, in 1927, was established on January 17 because America's "Apostle of Thrift," Benjamin Franklin, was born on that day. At the time when CU Day was established, the credit union movement in North America was rapidly developing. People were either too busy to celebrate or too new to the credit union movement to recognize the significance of their actions, and after a brief trial period, CU Day faded away.
