PERSONAL LEADERSHIP Featured Blog Supporter or Detractor?
As in politics, each of you has supporters and detractors in your life. The supporters are the people that will support and encourage you as you attempt to create positive change. You feel good around them. Loved and supported. You are in good company when you are engaged with your supporters. You will feel energized, positive, and confident after interacting with them. Whether you consider the changes you are making minor, moderate, or major you need supporters in your life to ensure that you will be successful. On the other hand, detractors will flat out undermine your attempts to reach the next level of your life. They are the people around whom you feel uneasy, or you question whether or not you can truly trust them. Detractors will sap you of your time and energy. And when you are attempting to create positive change in your life, detractors will be the ones to slow your process down. So how do you differentiate a supporter from a detractor? Let's take a look at a few of the characteristics of both: CLICK HERE TO READ THE REST |

Don't even get me started talking about how poorly most e-mails are crafted. It is no wonder there are so many hurt feelings and unmotivated people, and so much resistance running rampant in the organizations I work with. And yours too I bet. So, without further ado, here are the five main ways you contribute to communication issues, and probably not just at work. CLICK HERE TO READ THE REST |
