Towel LAFD
Towel Off
We love our donors. In fact, we love them so much so that, if you donate $75 online
during the month of August, we'll thank you by sending you a commemorative LAFD beach towel. And all proceeds benefit firefighters and their families in need. Do it before summer ends or you'll only be able to use it after a bath.

Chanel Nardone
Meet Chanel Nardone

Chanel Nardone moved from Cape Cod to Los Angeles four years ago to foster her creative side. The transition also helped foster her charitable side. Almost immediately upon her arrival, she volunteered to help the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund. Now, she's a regular face at the charity's flagship events like the LAFD Golf Invitational, Hope for Firefighters and the Lane Kemper Softball Classic. Read more about her and how she helps make our events go smoothly.

Bachelor Auction (low)
Did Somebody Order A Firefighter?

You don't need to start a fire to get a handsome firefighter's attention (and really, you shouldn't do that anyway). You can nab your own at the Fireman's Brew Firefighter Bachelor Auction at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, Aug. 30, 2012. Bid on hunky firefighters and rock out to live music. Proceeds benefit the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund. Details at the  House of Blues' event page.
