To All:
We had a beautiful evening on Wednesday March 23 with a small number of people who ploughed through the snow to be with us.
Those who arrived came to work....to honour and pray for "ALL" of Japan and other currently very troubled places, and to do so in community with others. Heloisa and Catherine and I planned and facilitated our time together.
In addition to what we already do, this may be a valuable and different way the SHCN can serve our community in the times ahead.
The Spirituality In Health Care Network is making a $300.00 offering to Masaru Emoto's initiative to bring clean, charged water to disaster areas in Japan.
I'm also including a message for all of you to hear that I received from our friend, Mohawk Elder, Teacher and Ceremonial Leader, Diane Longboat. She sent this to me on Wednesday morning and I brought it to our meeting that evening.

This presentation highlights manifestations of the sacred feminine (Isis, Ishtar, Anahita, Aphrodite) bequeathed by civilizations which prospered through water (Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, Greece). In contrast, modernity has by and large inherited the mythos of an earth bereft of divinity.....exhibited in our dysfunctional relationship with the planet. Our odyssey through these faces of fertility explores the extent to which we can (1) bridge our schism with the earth, and (2) cultivate well being, abundance and creativity in our own lives.
