A&D Medical To Display New Solutions at ATA Show this month
A&D Medical will showcase both eHealth and mobile health
applications for the telemedicine industry at the American Telemedicine
Association's (ATA) annual meeting in San Antonio from May 16-18, 2010. This includes
no less than four new products: A&D's new Telemedicine blood pressure
monitor for extra large arms and a trio of new wireless devices - blood
pressure monitor, weight scale, and activity monitor - all using ANT radio
technology. These new products join A&D Medical's wide array of solutions
targeting telemedicine and remote patient monitoring applications including
A&D Medical's Bluetooth devices, a range of Continua-certified devices, and
demonstrations of mobile health applications using iPhone, Android, and Windows
Mobile handsets.

UA-789PC | Similar to A&D
Medical's telemedicine blood pressure unit, model number UA-767PC, the new
UA-789PC telemedicine blood pressure monitor for extra large arms features an
RS-232 data port for serial or USB connectivity, and also adds new irregular
heartbeat detection flags and error reporting in its data output. Irregular
heartbeat detection provides blood pressure and pulse measurements even when an
irregular heartbeat occurs and includes a flag in the output data stream.
Current systems that are compatible with the UA-767PC model will find
themselves already compatible with the new UA-789PC and able to provide new
support for patients with larger arm circumferences. A&D Medical's Continua adapter cable, developed by Cypak and introduced last year, enables Continua compliance with all of A&D Medical's wired devices as well as disposable electronic questionnaires with Cypak near field communications technology. All of these products will be demonstrated with HealthLink home monitoring PC
software developed by Lamprey Networks, Inc.

A&D Medical is pleased to show its new mobile health
products. By integrating ANT wireless technology into its devices, A&D
Medical brings vital blood pressure, weight, and activity data options to ANT
health and fitness tracking solutions. As part of their ANT product showcase,
A&D Medical will demonstrate iPhone connectivity via a plug-in adapter,
enabling data to be channeled directly from A&D's ANT devices into an
iPhone application. A&D Medical also introduces its standard Bluetooth devices
to the mobile health arena by demonstrating a new consumer-friendly app for
Android mobile phones. This application is designed to receive measurements
from A&D Medical Bluetooth devices, provide local storage and analysis, and
export the data to the Google Health personal health record. Rounding out
A&D Medical's mobile health offerings are Continua-certified Bluetooth
devices connected to a Windows Mobile handset.
