Crochet the day away this coming Saturday, 14 May - and help make a blanket to benefit the Alfriston Festival, too!
Novice Crocheters Morning
If you've thought about taking up crochet but don't know where to start, we're hosting a morning of crochet tutelage with 'Make Believe Caf' experts Emma Carlow and Louisa Thomsen Britts.
The pair will lead beginners through all the steps to make their own 'granny squares', and provide all materials necessary.
Participants will make at least two squares - one of which may be added to a throw being made for a raffle benefitting the Alfriston Festival.
Tickets for the event, set for 10am-1pm, cost 25, including light refreshments.
Space is limited, so call us on 01323 871222 for your tickets, or e-mail us by clicking here.
Drop-in Crochet Afternoon
Novice and experienced crocheters alike are invited to hook up for a special afternoon making a blanket to support the Alfriston Festival.
'Make Believe Caf' crafters Louisa Thomsen Britts and Emma Carlow will coordinate the creation of a special throw to be raffled at the Alfriston Festival, raising funds for village causes.
Whether you are still learning crochet or if you've been enjoying the craft for decades, drop between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, 14 May - you don't need reservation or tickets!
You'll be able to enjoy light refreshments and light chat, share your crochet challenges and questions, and you'll help make something wonderful.
