Sunday 6 March . . . Collage exhibition of works by Jane Robbins, in The Barn at Much Ado. Enjoy Jane's extraordinary range of collage pieces (admission free - 11am-5pm). Saturday & Sunday, 5-6 March - World Book Night Celebration at Much Ado . . . Post a book to a friend, on us! Anyone who buys any book inside the shop can take part. You'll simply pick a book from a generous selection of old Penguin 60s (you remember them - those wonderful orange or black pocket-sized nuggets with wonderful passages from different authors). Write a note to go with it, and we'll send the book to one of your friends in the UK, for free! All you have to do is bring along the address - we'll supply notepaper and envelopes - and we'll even send along a teabag so your friend can enjoy the book with a nice warm cup of tea! World Book Night celebrates reading, and this is our way of sharing that passion - a chance for you to pick out something wonderful to give a friend. We'll run the event - so long as supplies last - during normal opening hours on 5 and 6 March. |
