Dogs only? Of Course Not!
We recently came up with a list of 28 different types of pets we've taken care of in the last four years.
Here's a start to the list:
- Dogs
- Cats
- Rabbits
- Birds (such as: parrots, parakeets, macaws, etc.)
- Tortoises
This list is only a partial list of the many animals Jen and Kristyn have handled over the years of working at veterinary hospitals. Ranging from hawks to peacocks to skunks to sugar gliders...even raising squirrels for release. Steve and his family had a plethera of wild animals for pets back in the day, too...including monkeys! |
We Love A Good Slumber Party!
Our most popular service!
Lucky loves his Slumber Parties! |
The most requested service is the ever-popular Slumber Party (or Overnight Stay). Each night consists of 12 hours of pampering, cuddling, feeding, clean-up, excercise, or whatever else you'd like us to do...it's no wonder why we are booked so far in advance!
It makes sense to have a sitter stay overnight with your pets...economical sense and pet care sense. You may be able to save a bit of money, depending on how much two daily visits would be...ask us for a quote! Most pets have their "parents" home at night...we can help them keep their normal routine, which can assist in keeping them as comfortable & happy as possible while you are away.
*Rates start at $70 per 12 hour overnight stay. May increase slightly with more than 4 pets & more than 10 miles away from Monrovia. |

PET OF THE MONTH |
Sweat Pea enjoying a ride.
 |
Sweat Pea is just 6 months old and is an Argentinian Dogo with a ton of energy! This girl keeps Jen on her toes three times per week, walking through Sierra Madre, Arcadia, & Monrovia. We are considering this nutty girl our "most improved" pup. Her first trip to Monrovia Canyon Park, she was afraid to cross the small streams, and now she is running right through them. She has been learning how to socialize with Sparky and now has playdates scheduled with him...Sweet Pea has definitely earned her Pet of the Month status! Way to go, girl!
If you'd like to nominate a pet, check out our Facebook photo albums, let us know who your nomination is, and we'll post them for all of our "fans" to admire. We will choose one pet each month and their "parents" will receive a FREE VISIT (up to a $25 value) from one of our experienced caretakers.

| Finding your expert... |
I need an expert! |
or the petsitter that's right for your pet(s) doesn't have to be difficult. You wouldn't want to trust just anyone with your "fur kids", but if you put just a little time into your search, you will find the perfect sitter.
Here are a few tips to make your search seamless:
--Start with a recommendation from a friend, neighbor, or local veterinarian.. Personal experiences and referrals can be the answer you need, because, after all, anyone can call themselves a petsitter, but may not be qualified.
