Back last spring, the word "facilitate" kept coming up in my spirit. Over and over again, I heard the Holy Spirit say, "facilitate...facilitate...facilitate! I sensed there was something that he wanted to teach me that had to do with the application of heavenly things for these last days. He reminded me of what he said, and so, we have a mandate to execute in this hour.
One thing I have learned about the Holy Spirit is that he is our heavenly navigator. He knows how to maneuver us into position for things that heaven wants to do. Whenever something begins to emerge on the scene where the Holy Spirit brings a quickening and he begins to draw us into a new direction, we have to become very sensitive not to miss it. One of the thoughts that best describes this word "facilitate" is having an ability to follow a specific course of action that gives rise to, or brings increase to the likelihood of what needs accomplishing. In other words, it means we can help forward the cause and process of things the Holy Spirit wants to carry out. There are things he wants to do on a much grander scale than what we have seen in the past, and the only way it is going to be accomplished is when we learn to follow fully the course he has prescribed.
As spiritual facilitators, we have to become skilled at doing things God's way. When it comes to the will of God we cannot afford to mix brass with gold! Brass may very well have similar characteristics in appearance, but it cannot compare in value to the priceless treasure gold brings. It is merely a substitutional alloy. Because of its bright gold-like appearance, it can look like something it is not. There are things that are going on within the Christian community that has the appearance of gold, but it doesn't have any spiritual value. Men have substituted brass for gold by trying to mix heavenly things with earthly measures.
We have entered into a season where it demands of us that we learn how to facilitate things concerning God's plan for these last days. To do that we must stay close to our heavenly navigator. Jesus said, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof..." (John 3:8). Well, on the Day of Pentecost, there was a sound from heaven, and as they learned to follow that sound, they knew exactly where the wind was blowing! That's what it is going to take of us. We have to get familar with the sound! When we do, we will know how to facilitate the will of God, for our lives and for the church!
I believe we are closing in on a time when a demonstration and a manifestation of the kingdom of God is going to be accomplished through a remnant of believers whose sole desire is to execute the will of God on the earth. These are going to be those who have come to a place in their life where nothing matters more than obeying the Holy Ghost! Remember Jesus said in his model prayer, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven" (Matt. 6:10). The kingdom he is referring to is now living in us, and as we learn how to make that connection with the Holy Spirit, then he will lead us into a kingdom life where we will have the right and the power to execute God's will on the earth.
The Bible tells us, "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things" (1 John 2:20). This word unction is often interchanged with the anointing. It has to do with both a divine quickening imparted into our spirits to guide us into all truth, and a divine instrument that brings information and revelation concerning the plans and purposes of God. God has brought us to such a time as this where we are about to connect to the government of heaven where it concerns a fresh instrumentation of the anointing. You talk about a divine flow! There is coming a "knowing" of divine things - an increase in the operation of heaven on earth where we are literally going to see a major breakthrough in facilitating the will of God. It is all going to be orchestrated as we purpose to live a kingdom life and walk in the full cooperation with the Holy Ghost.
I believer there are things pending....things that are waiting for us to step over into that only the anointing, the unction, can navigate us on how we are going to see accomplished. So often we just kind of take the idea, "if it be God's will" that really nothing major ever gets done. Jesus didn't say, "Pray...if it be God's will." He said, "Pray...that God's will be done in earth as it is in heaven." We have a responsibility to see that heaven's way of doing things is accomplished on the earth! That means we have to learn how to facilitate God's will through following the Navigator!
Jesus said, "It's expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you" (John 16:7). When Christ arose, he appeared on several occasions over a space of forty days, teaching them "...of things pertaining to the kingdom of God" (Acts 1:3). He wanted them to be prepared for what the Holy Spirit was about to do in them. In fact, earlier in his ministry, he told his disciples, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" (Matt. 16:19). Literally, the word bind means to prohibit, and the word loose means to deprive of authority. If Jesus taught us that we have a right to execute the will of God on the earth, in such a way that we can prohibit things that are contrary to his will, and deprive things of the authority to try to usurp that will, then why is it that we have settled with the idea "que sera sera" (whatever will be will be).
No! A thousand times no! What we need to do is become sharp in letting the Navigator bring us into levels of facilitating God's will, so that we get done what needs to get done! There is a dimension of living that God wants to bring us into, where we tap into the supernatural! Some of you may have had dreams, visions, and revelations where you have seen yourself moving in the miraculous. Much of these experiences are heavenly encounters that are to prepare you for things to come. God gave us the Holy Spirit as our teacher to teach and to train us how to operate in the supernatural realm. God never intended for us to live outside the realm of the supernatural. As we connect with heaven and learn to flow in the anointing, we will become facilitators of the purposes of God. One thing about a facilitator is they know how to raise the level and performance of what needs to be accomplished. In these last days, we have to pay careful attention to the Holy Spirit as he teaches us how to facilitate the kingdom, for that is the only way we can appropriate the power that rests within us.
