"Newest Message" Flowing in Compassion

PROPHETIC WATCH
For we have entered into a prophetic season. There is a stirring that is about to bring a new awakening. The church is about to see things arise from within that will connect her to heaven in ways that she has yet to see. Heavenly drop downs...flashes of revelation... there is a noise coming...it is the sound of the armies of heaven. The angels of God have yet to step into the fullness of their earthly activities, but in this hour, you will see a flurry - a resurgence. For in times past they have entered this realm and have performed things at different seasons to help bring about change...but in this season, the season we are about to step over into, their activities will step up...for they will be multiplied! Where lack has held men in bondage, suddenly things will turnaround. Where sickness and disease has tried to mock those who have proclaimed their faith, suddenly there will be a breaking forth and there will be a lying waste of all the works of the enemy. For you see, the climate is changing...so hold fast to what you know, for in this prophetic season the rain will come and the atmosphere of heaven will be in the air, and men will sense a lifting, a swelling, a new dimension of living...For in this hour you will sense an awakening, a need to step up. There will be an awakening to open up and allow the river of God to flow. Don't miss it! Don't let down your guard! For some will take lightly what I am about to do suddenly, and they will be unprepared. But don't you take lightly what I'm about to do. Make yourself ready, for this is a new season of change, and there are places to go and things to see that will astound thee; so pull, pull, and keep pulling on what you know, and suddenly without warning, you will step into it, and the fullness of what I have for you will come and you will know it is indeed, a new season, a glorious season - a season that will bring earth and heaven together for these last days... |

Greetings!
The love of God can do what humanly is impossible to do! We have within us the means to bring heaven right into a situation where hell itself shutters and quakes. There isn't anything that the enemy can do to arrest love once we let it take over! We hold the key to the supernatural! We have the answer that can solve every need, every crisis, and every problem known to man. It is time we catch the flow of heaven and let the compassion of Jesus take us to a new realm, a whole new dimension of living! |

COMPASSION
CATCHING THE FLOW OF HEAVEN |

"But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him"
- 1 John 3:17
First John three begins with these words: "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God..." (1 John 3:1). When I read this in light of the text found in verse seventeen, immediately my thoughts go back to something Jesus said, "Freely ye have received, freely give" (Matt. 10:8). Yes, God did lavish us with an incredible love, a love so far superior to anything this world has ever known, that we should be called the sons of God! What a marvelous truth! But is that the full extent of it? Is this wonderful, awe-inspiring love meant to remain contained? Was it only to bring us into sonship so that we could relish in God's love for ourselves, or was it to become an expression of our sonship by taking what was given to us and sharing it with the world?
John asked the question: "How can God's love dwell in us if we shut up our bowels of compassion?" In other words, the love of God was never meant to be contained! Romans chapter five says, "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Rom. 5:5). If the love of God is in us, then it is seeking to find an expression through us. That is the miracle of it. The more you give the more you receive, and the more you receive the more you experience. I call it "catching the flow of heaven" because that is exactly what the message of love is all about. When you allow yourself to be moved with compassion, you are stepping into a divine realm, a dimension that brings the wealth of heaven into operation. Things can happen as a result of God's love finding expression through you that can break open and change lives like nothing else can!
The gospels tell us over and over again that Jesus was "moved" with compassion. We are talking about a force so great and so strong that it is like a current that carries the heart of God. When you step into this divine compassion you tap into something greater than anything that exists in this world. Nothing has the power that love possesses. That is why redemption was a success - "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). It was love that took Jesus to the cross - it was love that raised him up again!

We are sons of God because we are born of love. There is nothing more definitive about the new birth than that we are sons of love. John said, "We know we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death" (1 John 3:14). Life and love co-exist as one! You cannot have life without love anymore than you can have love without life! When you begin to see and understand that love is not a feeling, that it is a person, then when you sense a need to love, what you are really sensing is a need to share the person of God! And the more rooted and grounded in love you become, the more of the fullness of God you will experience. That is exactly what Paul prayed out in Ephesians chapter three: "That he (God) would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, THAT YE MIGHT BE FILLED WITH ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD" (Eph. 3:16-19).
We have to be very careful not to miss the import of what Paul meant in this prayer. First of all, to be strengthened with might literally means there is a dominion of power to lift you into another dimension of living where you are able to comprehend the full expanse of the compassion of Jesus. Not just be able to understand it, but to have the full strength of laying hold on it! Can you even begin to imagine what this means? There is no way you or I could have ever been able to operate out of love's dimension had we not been born again! God had to do something within us by recreating our spirit so that our spirits could have the capacity to love as he loves. See, under the Old Covenant, we were to love our neighbor as ourselves, but under the New Covenant, we are loved one another as he has loved us (Matthew 22:39; John 13:34)! We were completely incapable of doing that as long as we had a sin nature, but when we became born again, the love nature of God came to reside in us. Now, we have the ability to love as God loves. You talk about a manifestation of sonship! This is it! If you ever find yourself suddenly feeling a stir of compassion within, yield to it, because that is the nature of God seeking expression. Step over into it and watch God do something beyond anything you could do in your natural ability!

PRAYER
Father, I just want to thank you for your love; how you gave your all to me. Help me now to give what you have given me to others. I desire this love to flow through me. If there is anything that is blocking it up, I ask you to set me free to love as you love. I want to become a river of compassion. I want to turn you loose on those that are hurting and need a touch from heaven. I make a fresh commitment to aim at love, until everything I do is an expression of your love in me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen. |

CONFESSION
I am a carrier of love. My new nature in Christ is born of love. I am the son of a loving Father, and I purpose in my heart to live and conduct my life just like my Father in heaven. All that he is lives in me, and there is nothing he is more than he is love, so I yield myself completely to love. I choose love words. I choose love thoughts. I choose love's way. I will let love have its way through me today! |

DEFINING MOMENTS...
Jesus said, "Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water" (John 7:38). There are reservoirs that exist within us that we have never drawn upon. We didn't know how! But now we know. We know that the love of God opens the floodgates of heaven and pours through us like a river. If you have ever experienced a moment when the true compassions of Jesus have flowed through you, then you know there is nothing more powerful, nothing more moving than this!
I am convinced that to the degree we allow the love of God expression that will be the determining factor to the level of sonship we fully experience. Remember, we are sons of love! The Bible says, "In him (in Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him" (Col 2:9-10). Everything we need to step into the fullness of God already resides in us, but only love can bring it forth. There are many things, deep things within us that only the love of God can bring about.
Are you ready to make that crossover into a new adventure - a new dimension of life? Love is the only way to get there! When you let love have its way, then you will see things you never thought you would see, you will do things that you never thought you could do.
