Greetings!
God has provided a way into his presence, where we can build an eternal relationship, holy and undefiled, having been purged from every form of dead works, empowering us to serve Him acceptably with reverence an godly fear.  It is a path provided to us and maintained by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.  Take the time today, to honor the blood. Knowing, that everything that comes before God and has his blessing on it, much first be touched by the blood!  Oh, how worthy it is to behold!
THE SACRED WORK OF REDEMPTION
It's the blood that satisfies, ratifies, and magnifies the cross

"And almost all things are by the law purged by blood,

and without the shedding of blood there is no remission"

-          Hebrews 9:22

From the very beginning of the Bible, we begin to understand the sacred and solemn importance of the blood.  When Adam and Eve sinned against God, and lost all that was delivered into their hands, it was blood that atoned for their sin. It was the coat of the animal that shed its blood that covered their nakedness. From the beginning to the end of scripture, from the closing of the gate in the garden to the opening of the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the blood is that golden thread that has woven the fabric of every sacred work God has extended to man.  It has been the atoning mark to his redemption-the seal to his deliverance-the emblem to the sanctity of his life.  There is nothing more holy - nothing more precious than the blood of Christ.  It is the only thing that can touch sin and reduce it to impotency.

This sacred instrument is our passage from death to life. It is what has bound our wounds.  It has cleansed away evil.  It nurtures our soul. It guards us from the septic influences of the world. All the wonders of grace point to it.  All the splendors of heaven rest upon it.  And the glories of redemption are fashioned by it.  The blood holds the highest place in the heart of God.  It is the seal of the covenant! Nothing can come close to touching the holiness of God as does the blood. It was the blood and only the blood, which was presented in the Holy of Holies. Thank God for the blood! Thank God for the blood. No wonder the old gospel hymn by Robert Lowry (1876) still echoes in halls of our memories! "Oh precious is the flow...that makes me white as snow...No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus!"

When something becomes valuable and precious to you, you will give all that you have to acquire it.  When something becomes valuable and precious to you, you can't get enough of it.  When something becomes valuable and precious to you, you guard it with your life. This is the standard by which love is measured-and nothing holds more love than Christ's own blood being poured out for you and for me.

Of all the wonderful truths contained within this sacred work, it is the prevailing power of the blood that resonates through my soul. Not only was it the blood that redeemed me, cleanse me, restored to me everything I lost in the fall, but it is the one thing that preserves me, and lifts me, and empowers me to live in a covenant union with my heavenly Father.  Nothing provides access like the blood.  Nothing confirms and ratifies the promises of God like the blood. There is nothing in this world-no force, no law, no strategy of the enemy, that is strong enough to prevent the Word of God from accomplishing in me and through me all that the blood has offered in redemption.

In celebrating the greatness of Christ's triumph, we must grasp the magnitude of his offering. We must place our affection on his sacrifice just as we place our dependence upon his victory.  The blood must hold the same place in our heart as it does in God's heart.  Hebrews chapter twelve tells us, "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh..." (Heb 12: 24, 25).   There is a voice from heaven that is speaking to us all.  What it's speaking concerns the souls of men.  It is an atoning prayer-a tongue of mercy that can and will prevail, if we will but answer to its plea.  If you will hear this voice sounding out to you and let it work in you, then you will find the secret that unlocks the mysteries of heaven, and a power that is beyond measure!

PRAYER

Oh my Father, how I love your presence!  How I long to be where you are.  Thank you for making a way for me to draw near to you-to have such a bold access where I can come before your throne.  I will forever honor this sacred work.  I will value it and praise you for it every day of my life. All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to the blood! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

CONFESSION

It is the blood that satisfies the judgment laid upon my sin.  It is the blood that ratifies my right to become a child of God.  It is the blood that magnifies the sacred work of my redemption.  Today, I am free because of the blood.  It is the blood that has separated me, sealed me, and sustains me, both now and throughout all eternity.  I am invigorated by the blood.  I am renewed and strengthen by its power.  No weapon formed against me can prosper, because the blood marks me as God's property. If God be for me, who can succeed against me?  This now has become my banner, my signet song and victory! I am the redeemed, and I say so!

DEFINING MOMENTS...

In the final book of the Bible, when all that stood around the throne beheld the lamb of God, it tells us "they sang a new song saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation!"

In Revelation 19:11-13, John said, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and his name is called the Word of God."

From the opening of the seven seals to beholding His glory, we see the mark of the blood forever symbolizing the power and purity of God's holiness.  There is nothing that the enemy has in his arsenal that dare stands against the blood.  Oh, my friend!  May you turn your eyes upon it.  May you behold it, and embrace it.  May you let it do in you everything it is intended to do.  The blood is the most sacred work of redemption.  It can and will make you to reign victoriously over everything the enemy throws your way. If you make much of the blood, the blood will make much of you!

In His Grace,
