"...I heard as it were of a trumpet talking with me;
which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things
which must be hereafter.And immediately I was in the Spirit..."
-Revelation 4:1-2
Several weeks ago, in preparing to minister the Word, I kept hearing this word "facilitate" down in my spirit. Over and over again, it kept coming up. I sensed there was something about it that God was speaking to me that had to do with the application of things he wants to do in these last days. There is no doubt about it, we are moving into a time where the church is going to have to know how to facilitate the gospel. What I mean by that is-we must become sharp in letting the navigator bring us into levels of application, where a rising up and an increase in the works of God begin to flow effortlessly.
Whenever something begins to emerge on the scene, where the Holy Spirit brings a quickening, where he begins to draw us into a new direction-the first thing it demands of us is that we become sharp, where we learn to pay particular attention to how we are to connect to his endeavors. One of the dangers, which has been a great hindrance toward many being able to facilitate the gospel, is the mistake that folks tend to fall into of taking something and running off with it, without learning how to cooperate with the navigator. It seems in every new phase of revelation there are always a few who run ahead of the move of God and miss the connection. This is the very reason why something that is truly born of God ends up suffering from imbalances and inaccuracies. You don't have to go back very far to see how this very thing occurred within the past moves of God, such as: the deliverance message, the faith message, the prosperity message, even prayer and intercession-all of which were revelations born out of a heavenly move, but had factions of error that brought harm to the true workings of the Holy Ghost.
One of the thoughts that really best describe this word "facilitate" is having an ability to follow a specific course of action that gives rise to or brings increase to the likelihood of what needs to be accomplished. There are things the Holy Spirit wants to do on a much grander scale than what we have seen in the past, and it is certain that it is going to demand that we attain to this ability. There is about to come an unveiling of spiritual activities both in the church and in the world that we must be prepared to handle. There are manifestations of God and manifestations of demonic spirits that the church is going to be confronted with that will demand we know how to facilitate the works of God. If we don't become sharp and develop the ability to connect with our "heavenly facilitator," there may be some alarming consequences that take place. God does not want us unprepared, nor does he want us unskilled in how to move with him in these last days.
Some of you may have had dreams, visions, or revelations, where you have seen yourself moving in the miraculous. Much of these experiences are heavenly encounters to prepare you for things to come. The very life that you possess, as a believer, carries a heavenly DNA to live and function in the supernatural. God gave you the Holy Spirit as a spiritual facilitator to teach and to train you how to operate in this supernatural realm. Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall ye do also, and greater works than these, shall you do, because I go unto my Father" (John 14:12). Don't let anything cause you to dismiss the fact that we are about to see the works of God worked in such a way that it will be astounding! God has never intended for us to live outside the realm of the supernatural. If you have the Spirit of God living in you then to live a powerless life is not only unacceptable-it is inexcusable! Facilitators make dreams come true. Facilitators know how to raise the level and performance of what need to be accomplished. We need to pay attention to the Holy Spirit as he teaches us how to facilitate the power contained within the gospel.
