Sawyers & Jacobs LLC's most valuable assets are client relationships, and we continually strive to deliver exceptional consulting services in a professional manner. We believe our clients have the right to know what to expect from our firm and the right to frank and candid communication with us at all times. Our
Client Bill of Rights outlines our commitments to our clients and our dedication to superior client service:
1. The right to be treated fairly: Our dealings with all people will reflect the Ethic of Reciprocity, also known as the Golden Rule, a philosophy that has existed in ancient cultures all over the world, whereby one treats others as he would like to be treated. Not only is it good business, it's simply the right thing to do.
2. The right to open lines of communication: As a client, you will have the direct mobile telephone number for every consultant in our firm, including the owners. We want our clients to feel free to call us anytime...day, night, weekend, or holiday. No voice mail jail. No receptionist run-around.
3. The right to privacy and confidentiality: We protect our clients' information through strong internal controls, stringent security measures, and constant security awareness. We practice what we preach when it comes to information safeguards.
4. The right to question us: We are not infallible and we are not omniscient consultants. We want our clients to feel free to question our recommendations and challenge us to back them up with sound reasoning and thoughtful consideration.
5. The right to professionalism: We can be counted on to maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times. We don't treat your business in a casual manner and we maintain a strict Code of Conduct for all of our team members. Each of our team members, including the owners, undergo criminal background checks and drug screenings, prior to being hired and annually thereafter on a surprise basis. We are invited guests at your bank and we conduct ourselves accordingly.
6. The right to independence and objectivity: We do not act as a member of bank management, set bank policy, design bank financial systems, or operate the bank's systems, nor do we provide proprietary software or programming services. We maintain good relationships with industry providers but we do not accept any fees for referrals, speaking engagements, or the like from vendors. Furthermore, our consultants are not allowed to do business with our clients (e.g., have a loan or deposit account with a client). These policies allow us to put our clients' needs first without any conflicts clouding our objectivity.
7. The right to competence: We stress the importance of continued learning for our team members so we remain aware of industry trends and proficient in the engagements we undertake. We are committed to the banking industry as evidenced by our significant industry activity. Our 100% focus is banking. This is not something we do part-time.
8. The right to know where we stand: We make recommendations based on our observations and experience but we are well aware that it is the prerogative of our clients, their management, and their board of directors to accept or reject our recommendations. It's your ship.
9. The right to receive invoices with clear descriptions and no hidden fees: We do not charge for copies, telephone calls, overnight mail, and some of the other "nickel and dime" fees some firms charge their clients. We want our billing practices to be beyond reproach. Our clients know they can question any bill they don't understand.
10. The right to choose your consulting firm: Our clients can disengage us at any time and exercise our 100% satisfaction guarantee which states, We guarantee your complete satisfaction with our work. If you are not completely satisfied with our services, we will, at your option, either waive professional fees, or accept a portion of those fees that reflects your level of satisfaction. This is an unconditional guarantee.
Our goal is to maintain long-term, satisfied clients who have confidence and trust in our firm and our team members. We will continue to work hard to achieve this goal on a daily basis by living the practices noted above.
