Enterprise Risk Assessments and Security Awareness

Over the past year, clients have told us there are two areas in particular where consulting help is sorely needed.  Those areas are Enterprise Risk Assessments and Security Awareness.

Given the current environment, Enterprise Risk Assessments are helping bankers assess their risk bank-wide, increasing awareness of problem areas and reducing risk through mitigating controls at the same time.  Our Enterprise Risk Assessment model is helping banks tackle this important issue while providing a practical approach and easy-to-understand, actionable, documentation.  Don't be surprised if regulators ask for your Enterprise Risk Assessment during your next exam.  We expect this to be a regulatory hot button in 2011.  Jimmy Sawyers will be speaking on this topic, Enterprise Risk Assessments:  The Mother of All Risk Assessments, at the Tennessee Bankers Association Bank Security & Risk Management Conference on November 16th in Nashville.

Security Awareness has continued to be one of those critical yet hard to communicate areas where bankers have been left with generic solutions to specific problems.  Our Security Awareness for Bankers session can be deliivered as a Windows Movie or a PowerPoint Show.  It is self-guided and includes a 20-question test designed to reinforce the security awareness lessons learned.  The session is designed for community banks and is suitable for all bank employees from tellers to board members.  Pricing is based on number of employees making it affordable for banks of all sizes.

Email Jimmy Sawyers at jsawyers@sawyersjacobs.com for more information and to request a formal proposal for these helpful new consulting services.  For a complete list of our services, visit our website at www.sawyersjacobs.com .  We have been booked for the remainder of 2010 for some time now but we are currently scheduling 2011 engagements.  We hope to see you soon.
