We sometimes get the question: What is the difference in Bank Tech University (BTU) and Bank Tech Summit (BTS)?
Good question. Allow us to shed some light on our two popular but unique annual events.
The difference in BTU versus BTS?
- BTU is held in the spring. BTS is held in the fall.
- BTU is a two and one-half day event. BTS is a one and one-half day event.
- BTU has a tactical focus. BTS has a strategic focus.
- BTU faculty consists of the Sawyers & Jacobs team. BTS includes guest speakers from the banking and technology industries.
- BTU does not have provider exhibits. BTS does have provider exhibits.
- BTU sessions are three-hour deep dives on specific topics. BTS sessions are typically one-hour presentations on strategies and trends.
- BTU offers the chance to attend one day or multiple days. BTS is one event with contiguous sessions.
How are BTU and BTS similar?
- Both are presented by Sawyers & Jacobs and the Barret School of Banking
- Both offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits
- Both are a great way to network with your peers
- Both have fabulous prizes and great food
