Empowering our Students 
INJAZ Implements its Fourth Business Leaders Campaign
On November 20th, INJAZ launched its fourth Business Leaders Campaign, sponsored by Credit Suisse and USAID, aiming to inspire and motivate Jordanian youth to succeed and realize their dreams b y giving them the opportunity to interact with successful local role models. Every year, INJAZ links 130 Jordanian business and social leaders with 130 public, UNRWA, and military education schools, allowing them to transfer their knowledge to more than 6,500 students.
The campaign lasted for five weeks and was concluded by a closing ceremony on the 21st of December to acknowledge the kindness and resilience of participating business leaders, while showcasing business and social entrepreneurship projects of INJAZ students to the guests. Read more

INJAZ Company Competition Winners Participate in Youth Entrepreneurship Summit in Turkey
Winners of the Company Program Competition for the academic year 2010-2011 from the University of Jordan-Aqaba, "Events mn 2la5er" Company, participated in the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit held in Istanbul between 3rd and 5thof December, co-organized by Kadir Has University in Turkey. The Youth Entrepreneurship Summit ran concurrently with the Global Entrepreneurship Summit tackling "Entrepreneurship, Values and Development: A Global Agenda", held under the auspices of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, in coordination with the Turksih Prime Ministry. INJAZ' Leadership Competition Gold Award Goes to Students of Jordan University for their Food Bank Project
On October 6th, INJAZ held its Final Leadership Competition for university and college students who took INJAZ' leadership course in 2010-2011 and implemented their leadership projects under the supervision of private sector volunteers . Read more
INJAZ Holds its Annual Company Competition for Higher Education Students
As part of INJAZ' efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and increase work readiness among Jordanian youth, on October 26th, INJAZ conducted its annual "Company Competition", sponsored by Boeing, Jordan Cement Factories, Greater Amman Municipality and Dar Al-Handasah. "Events Mn 2la5er" company, from Jordan University - Aqaba, won the first prize. Read more
Participants of Social Leaders Program Enjoy an Open Day in October
INJAZ held an Open Day at the King Hussein Club for pa rticipants in the Social Leaders Program (SLP) on October 18th. The event gathered SLP students, mentors from well-known Jordanian social and business leaders, the mentors' management teams and their families, in a casual atmosphere. The student leaders and their teams had a chance to present their projects and enter an online competition sponsored by Nuqul Group. Read more

Hand in Hand with our Volunteers 
New Volunteers Across the Kingdom Receive Training to Conduct INJAZ' Courses
INJAZ' Programs' Development and Training Unit held two Content Based Orientation Training Sessions, in September, to prepare new volunteers on key aspects in delivering INJAZ' courses as well as familiarizing them with the courses' content. The training sessions were held in Amman and Aqaba, bringing together volunteers from the North, Mid, and South of Jordan. Read more
INJAZ' Volunteers in Al-Koura District Visit Nuqul Group
On October 9th, Nuq ul Group hosted INJAZ and its volunteers delivering INJAZ' courses at Al-Koura District in the North, to appreciate their enthusiasm and efforts to give back to society during this semester. This gesture comes as part of Nuqul Group's adoption of Al-Koura District schools under the Area Adoption Program offered by INJAZ. Read more

INJAZ' Board Elects its Board of Directors at the General Assembly
On September 13th, INJAZ' held its General Assembly meeting of 2011-2012 whereby representatives of the fifty-six board members were present to elect the Board of Directors and its Chairperson. The elected Board of Directors were Arab Bank, aramex, Cairo Amman Bank, Imseeh Jewelry, Jordan Telecom Group (Orange), Kawar Group, Nuqul Group, Pharmacy One, Saraya Holdings, The Commercial & Industrial Company, and Umniah. Mr. Rudain Kawar, from Kawar Group, was elected as Chairperson. Read more

Standard Chartered Bank Employees Volunteer at Al-Reeshah School Adopted by the Bank
On September 26th , a group of fifteen employees from Stand ard Chartered Bank lead by Mr. Ahmad Abu Eideh, Chief Executive Officer, spent a day with students from Al-Reeshah Secondary Comprehensive School for Girls to help renovate their school. The school is located in Gharandal, 300 km south of Amman, considered to be one of the poverty pockets in Jordan. Read more
INJAZ' Board Committees Meet
In addition to contributing to INJAZ' long term sustainability, INJAZ Board of Trustees participate in many of its programs and functions, and serve on Board Committees such as Fundraising and Board growth, Brand Effectiveness, Operations, Program Development and Training, and Investment and Finance committees. The committees meet periodically to stay updated and share their advice and recommendations.

Did you know...
Company Program
INJAZ is upscaling its Company Program across universities after signing an agreement with MoPIC.
TEAM Program
INJAZ is officially launching its TEAM Program after piloting it in three special education centers in 2010-2011. TEAM offers working experience to youth with disabilities enabling them to start a business under the guidance of their teachers and volunteers.
