INJAZ Concludes the Business Leaders Campaign 2009
 
 
From a BLC sessionOn the 24th of November, INJAZ announced the end of the Business Leaders Campaign which began on the 26th of October 2009 with sponsorship from Credit Suisse.
 
The Business Leaders Campaign tackled an important angle in the participating students' academic and social lives, relating primarily to the strengthening of their morale and enthusiasm. It aimed at inspiring, motivating and helping students grow their desire to succeed professionally.

Throughout the period of the campaign, 110 business leaders were linked with 100 public schools, where they engaged in interactive sessions with the students. More than 6,000 students around the Kingdom participated in the Business Leaders Campaign this year. Read more
Partnership Reinforced 
INJAZ Signs MOU with the University of Jordan
 
Signing of the MOUINJAZ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Jordan on Thursday 12th November 2009, which aims at facilitating the academic collaboration between the two parties.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Bashir Al Zoubi, Vice President of the University Of Jordan, and Mrs. Dima Bibi, CEO of INJAZ. Mr. Al Zoubi discussed the importance of this partnership as the university started working with the organization since its establishment 1999. He pointed out that the MoU goes in line with the university's mission to work and collaborate with the different social institutions in the country. Mrs. Dima Bibi added, "This partnership focuses on helping prepare students to adapt to the various requirements of the job market."

INJAZ Signs MOU with the Ministry of Labor and the Canadian International Development Agency
 
Signing of MOU In a step that aims at effectively implementing the My Career Options Program, INJAZ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of labor and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Tuesday, November 10th, 2009.

The MoU was signed by the Minister His Excellency Dr.Ghazi Shbeikat, CEO of INJAZ Dima Bibi, and Policy Advisor/Project Manager of CIDA, John Knapp. Read more
INJAZ Courses During Fall '09
993 INJAZ Courses in Classrooms Across Jordan
 
INJAZ Course Running in ClassroomWith the withering of the last leaf of fall, INJAZ wrapped up a fruitful semester enriched with capacity building courses that focused on interactive approaches and real life experience.

Throughout the semester, 846 INJAZ volunteers conducted 993 courses in 153 schools, 17 university and 11 community colleges around the kingdom.Read more

INJAZ in Amman Centannial ParadeINJAZ students participated in the Parade that was organized by Greater Amman Municipality as a festive celebration where hundreds of organizations, associations, leagues and initiatives participated in the parade to represent Amman and its journey of growth in 100 years.

The Launch of the Business Leaders Campaign
 
BLC Launch EventINJAZ launched the Business Leaders Campaign 2009 on Monday 26th October, with support from Credit Suisse as the official sponsor of the campaign. The kick-off reception which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel included playing a documentary about the campaign and an orientation presentation to guide the participating CEO's on how to conduct the session inside the classroom.

350 Students from Three Schools  
INJAZ Runs in Amman International Marathon!
 
INJAZ Students in Amman MarathonAround 350 INJAZ students from Al Sweifiyyeh High School for Girls, Um Habiba High School for Girls, and Sukaynah Bint Al Hasan High school for Girls ran the 4KM marathon as they enjoyed the run with a competitive spirit, showing off the colors of INJAZ, as they were also very eager to reach the finish line and win their medals.

US Ambassador Attends an INJAZ Master Class Session
 
US Ambassador with INJAZ StudentsUS Ambassador, Robert Stephen Beecroft, paid a visit to Al Shefa' Bint Aouf School for Girls in Jabal Al Natheef last Thursday where he joined an INJAZ Master Class session. During his visit, the US Ambassador discussed the school's background and INJAZ programs with the principal, then attended the INJAZ session where he interacted with the students and engaged in a brief discussion on the benefits of programs such as INJAZ.
