Spring Transformations
Greetings!

Spring in Lake City is a time of fast transformations after a lengthy winter.  Each day, the land looks different than the day before, with the grass greening before our eyes, aspens and cottonwoods budding, and animals and flocks of birds moving through constantly.  We still get some light dustings of short-lived snow, adding a little white sheen to our mornings.

If you haven't seen it lately, our website at www.lakecity.com is being re-designed, with additions of new information, photographs, and videos.

This year's line-up of special events is especially impressive, with an array of activities, entertainment, art and history events, outdoor education, and other fun things to do. We update the events schedule all the time;  see our Events page.

Starting the summer off, the Arbor Day & Green Fair Celebration is May 22, the Third Street Market opens May 29, and the Lake San Cristobal 5k/10k Race is on June 5.  Find out more about these events and dozens more at www.lakecity.com/events.
