Sourdough Trail Day
THIS Friday, July 29th after work head on up to the South Sourdough (Peak to Peak Hwy to the Rainbow Lakes/CU Research Station road to the south Sourdough Trailhead) for an early evening ride and overnight camp out. There will be beer!
If you can't come up Friday be there on Saturday, July 30th , by 9AM. There'll be coffee, juice, and buns for folks who get there early or who've camped over. We'll work til 2 and then break for food and refreshments (courtesy of BMA and our sponsors).
If we put in one day of good work, when Sufferfest rolls around you all can say "I built this and rode it first!".

We Need More SD Help
Catherine, the BMA leader for the July 30 Sourdough Trail project could use some help with logistics. Forest service projects are run almost completely by BMA. That means we supply all hand tools, food, water, beer and anything else we need for a safe, fun, successful day.
She needs assistance in getting food to the camp, a 'camp host' type person, and some other general and easy help so this event goes off without a hitch! If you can help Friday or Saturday, please e-mail directly at cschweiger@indra.com.

What Else is Going On?

Wondering what else we've got going on this week? Besides building better trails, we've got the WeNR Wednesday (Dots!) and Gurlz Ride Thursday (West Mag!). These rides repeat most weeks, so check back often for times and locations.
Next month the fun continues with First Monday, a work day/campout in West Mag, and another Knobby Weekend! Click on the calendar over there on the right hand side for more info!

Sufferfest 2011!
Every year, just before the snow falls, BMA hosts the last great ride of the season. The route starts in Nederland snaking its way through Magnolia single track and magically leads you to a celebration at Beaver Reservoir! Please don't let the name fool you! The route is fully supported with aid stations and plenty of volunteers to cheer you on. After ending the ride, let BMA treat you to some tasty food and cold beverages as we sit around a campfire and share stories. Enjoy camping with your friends Saturday night and we'll get you back to Nederland on Sunday morning.
The date is September 10th... see you there.

Contact Mic De Min for more info or to volunteer your time. We need your help to make the 4th Annual Sufferfest an event to remember!

Muddy Buddy Help
There will be 2500 nutty area bike riders at this year's Muddy Buddy on August 14th who need to know more about BMA. All ya gotta do is chat w/folks about what good work we do and how much fun we have doing it! This is an annual fundraiser for BMA so please sign up for a shift at our booth and help those sloppy buddies become informed and involved. Email Hersch or give him a call at 303-570-9177 to give a hand.

Trail Descriptions!
|
By now, BMA hopes you all know, love, and use the Trail Descriptions area of our website. Sadly, some trails are missing descriptions, ratings, maps, elevation profiles, and/or photos. Help BMA get this sucka 100% filled out! It's extra important to get this done soon because there's a BMA Trails app for phones and tablets on the way....
Email us if you're willing to help, and we'll give you a list of what needs doing. Even ten minutes of your time would be huge, and your hard work will be immortalized on the BMA website for all to see, enjoy, and use
