Anemone Hill Open House
Ever wanted a ride your mountain bike from Boulder into a real trail? OSMP will host a meeting on Tuesday, July 19th at the East Boulder Senior Center from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, intended to provide a third-party contractor designing potential trails on Anemone Hill an opportunity to hear public input on possible trail options and concerns associated with this area.
Mountain bikers do not need to flood the room. Staff has already hired a contractor to do trail design. But if this issue speaks to your heart, we wanted you to know that staff is asking for citizen input.
Want some talking points for the meeting? Click over here, and thanks for representing!

Be a Valmont Host
All summer long, folks will be flocking to Valmont Bike Park to enjoy the world-class new facility, but might be a little at a loss on exactly which jump lines are right for them or the best way around the Glade trails, or some noob just cased a jump and the lip needs TLC. That's where you come in.
City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department has asked for your help. They want to train up some people as Park Hosts who know the park really well and can convey that info to other Park users. This is a three tiered program where volunteers will have the opportunity to learn trail maintenance and digging. Your help will be needed throughout the year.
The next training happens this Tuesday July 19th. Additional details will be sent to you upon registration. If you have questions, please email valmont@bouldermountainbike.org or LaHaieC@bouldercolorado.gov

Sourdough Trail Day
If you love our high country trails or are a Sufferfest fan this is your chance to give something back.
BMA is converting a miserable piece of old, blown out road on the south Sourdough Trail to new, cool single track.
Be the last to ride the old and the first to ride the new!
Friday, June 29th after work head on up to the South Sourdough (Peak to Peak Hwy to the Rainbow Lakes/CU Research Station road to the south Sourdough Trailhead) for an early evening ride and overnight camp out. (There will be beer, but not too much. There'll be more when the work is done!).
If you can't come up Friday be there on Saturday, July 30th , by 9AM. There'll be coffee, juice, and buns for folks who get there early or who've camped over. We'll work til 2 and then break for food and refreshments (courtesy of BMA and our sponsors).
If we put in one day of good work, when Sufferfest rolls around you all can say "I built this and rode it first!".

Trail Descriptions!
|
By now, BMA hopes you all know, love, and use the Trail Descriptions area of our website. Sadly, some trails are missing descriptions, ratings, maps, elevation profiles, and/or photos. Help BMA get this sucka 100% filled out! It's extra important to get this done soon because there's a BMA Trails app for phones and tablets on the way....
Email us if you're willing to help, and we'll give you a list of what needs doing. Even ten minutes of your time would be huge, and your hard work will be immortalized on the BMA website for all to see, enjoy, and use
