Knobby Ride
 Looking for a ride where you, your friends and the kids can all ride at their own pace? Do you like to BBQ? Well, we have a ride for you!
The first BMA Knobby Ride of the Summer is this Saturday, June 18th Marshal Mesa!! Make this one a special Father's Day weekend activity!
Rides depart by 9:30am for all levels - expert, intermediate, beginner and kids. Lunch will be provided post ride! Please forward to all of your friends, post on Facebook, talk about it at the water cooler, spread the word!

Walker Ranch Open House
Wednesday, June 22nd from 6pm - 830pm @Boulder County Clerk and Recorder office at 1750 33rd Street in Boulder.
BCPOS is ramping up for a revisit of the Walker Ranch Management Plan. The last time they looked at this plan, Heil Valley and Hall Ranch hadn't been purchased yet and Walker Ranch Loop was the premier mountain bike ride in Boulder County, mainly because it was an actual loop!
We have come a LONG way since then. BCPOS understands sustainable and fun trails(ie, Benjamin Trail), and they also know we don't want to ride on roads. Connectivity between the plains and mountains are also a higher priority.
If you ride Walker Ranch, we need to to be heard. If you want plains to mountains connectivity, this is the place where your voice will make a difference. BMA's advocacy team has already met with staff and has heard our views, concerns and aspirations for this park. Staff seems to be fairly supportive, so com on down with an open mind and ideas to share.

Rerooting Reroot
We will begin working regular Mondays (noon to dark) to construct more alternate line features on the newly opened Re-Root Trail at West Magnolia.
Most of the work to be done will be moving and securing rocks into place to create the features. This is tedious painstaking work that has a very rewarding appeal to many since the work will offer progressive learning lines that will challenge everyone from beginner to expert.

Valmont Rules!
Thank you everyone for your support and help over the years. Valmont Bike Park has opened, it's awesome, and you should go ride it. It's not all about huge jumps or hucking - there's a ton of other trails, features and fun for everyone.
We couldn't have done this without you, our supporters. Thank you for becoming members, buying t-shirts, making donations, volunteering, and in general being the most engaged bunch of mountain bikers we've ever met. Thanks!

Weekly Rides
Hello summer! The rains have abated, the sun is back out, hotter temperatures are in the forecast, and it's time to ride! Join up with any or all of BMA's social rides to enjoy the trais in a social atmosphere while getting miles on the legs during the week. Most rides end with dinner and drinks at a local establishment. Check out the BMA calendar to see where each group is headed next!
