 West TSA Neighborhood Meeting

Once again it is time to show up.  If you live west of Broadway, south of Linden, and north of Eldorado Springs Drive - we need you for this critical event.

The Neighborhood representatives to the West Trail Study Area group are holding a Listening Session.  The Neighborhood reps want to hear the concerns of those that live near the West TSA.  Now is the time to tell the Neighborhood Representatives that you care about reasonable, responsible, and fair access to your open space.  We need you to be the polite, smart, and clear voice that says:

  • We want to be able to ride from town to access a reasonable portion of our trail system - without using a car.
  • As a neighbor to Boulder Open Space, you understand the concerns about parking, trash, and noise, but that you are concerned about more than that; conveniently spaced and well designed access points that reduce and distribute neighborhood impacts.
  • You are a responsible citizen that cares about the quality of our public lands and that you look forward to helping build well designed trails that allow access a variety of users and minimize conflict and impact through great trail design.
  • As a neighbor and a taxpayer that it is only fair that the ban on bikes, for a small portion of the West TSA, be lifted.

Please attend ONLY if you live in the area described above.  Our credibility and reputation depend on your honesty.  For people living outside of the Neighborhood area, you can be sure that your concerns are being represented by Mark McIntyre, the West TSA bike representative, (see his blog here ) and the other recreation reps.

Here is the information to attend - see you there:

Wednesday April 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Chautauqua in the Rocky Mountain Climbers Club Room (lower level of the Community House).

If you can't attend on April 7th, you can always email the neighborhood reps at:
