Matt Sawyer, a vibrant member of our biking community, passed away Monday from natural causes. To honor his interests & memory his family has requested that in lieu of flowers mourners in Boston & Boulder make a donation to BMA. His brother asked us to invite everyone that knew Matt, or can just appreciate his generous spirit, to come by and say hi. His brother Jason writes:

 

We have finalized the details for the Celebration of Matt's Life. We'll have a service at Foothills Community Park ( Union Ave- west of N. Broadway ) on Sunday, March 8 at 2 PM (please remember it's daylight savings day). It will be simple with a few people speaking and sharing memories and stories of Matt.

Afterwards (possibly 3ish), we'll have a reception at Matt's friend Alec's restaurant, Arugula ( the old Laudisio's location, 28th & Iris )
