LAST WEEK'S PROGRAM--as we atransition.....

Guests:  Bill Weissert of United Way

President Ann Rogers (last day) & President Tom Bartz (installed last evening) led the meeting.

Perfect attendance members unable to attend last evening were recognized:  Jim Schermetzler, Greg Burgett & Char Pachniak.  Tom Bartz was recognized last evening as a Paul Harris Fellow.  Ann Rogers was recognized last evening as Rotarian of the Year.  Members were reminded to check out the interview of Claude.

Bill Weissert came up and recognized Early Bird Rotarians for their participation in the cart races at Road America that was the fund raiser for United Way.  Jim Testwuide shared with the membership that camps were starting this week at SpacePort giving more visibility to Early Birds and their donation.   Gerry reminded members to water the Rotary on their day of watering.

This was the annual meeting of the Early Bird Foundation as required by bylaws.   Dr. Feider distributed information on the grants that have been given by the Foundation over the years.   (If any member did not receive this informationn and would like it, check with Dr. Feider or Kris Krentz (Foundation Secretary).  Ballots were distributed and Rick Reiss and Janet Carter were elected to the Foundation Board,.  Dr. Feider did retire from the Foundation Board and was thanked for his years of service.  Officers of the Foundation Board will be elected at the Foundation Board's first meeting of their new year.

President Rogers strongly recommended that committees meet outside of the club meeting with the next 30 days.
