Message from previous presenter -- Chuck from the Library of Vietnam here. We're planning a 2 week April trip to Vietnam. Its the cheapest month of the year for intenrational air. You or any of the good burgers at Sheboygan interetsed in joing our Delegation?
David Kuckuk of Maywood gave us a very visual tour of the seasons of Maywood. This unique setting is due to a donation in 1974 to the City of Sheboygan of 135 acres. What is very unique is the variety of of experiences all included at Maywood. There 8 miles of hiking trails, a suspension bridge, the prairie outlook right in front. Volunteers make the experience memorable. Memberships and grants fund the park. Various events are held throughout the year including coming up in March the Flapjack Day, the Sugar Tours, Earth Day, Eco-Camps, Eco-Adventure, Earth Ride and much much more. David begged staff to send him on more eductional excursions because everytime he has done that, attendance at the Park has spiked.

After 20 years of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, but a strong push is needed now to root it out once and for all. It is a window of opportunity of historic proportions.
HAVEN'T SEEN THIS VIDEO YET, ASK JIM S. TO SEE IT!
Your contribution will help Rotary raise $200 million to match $355 million in challenge grants received from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The resulting $555 million will directly support immunization campaigns in developing countries, where polio continues to infect and paralyze children, robbing them of their futures and compounding the hardships faced by their families.
As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, children everywhere remain at risk. The stakes are that high.
Note: A video preview is from "The Last Hurdle: Polio in India" in RVM: The Rotarian Video Magazine Vol. 2.2.
"If we all have the fortitude to see this effort through to the end, then we will eradicate polio." - Bill Gates MAKE A PLEDGE TO THE EREY FOR 2010
For more information talk with Jim Schmetzler, Ed Morgan, Bob Feider or any of our long time members. Ask how to research your giving by using your personal ID number.
