Embroidery Club Update
Saturday, Jan 14th, 9 am - 2 pm
This is going to be a fun class. We will learn how to create heart blocks "In The Hoop". Your embroidery machine does all the work for you. When you are done with your blocks, they are all the same size, and so easy to put together. You can make a quilt, a wall hanging, a table topper or whatever you want out of these blocks.
You need to download the free tutorial (which includes the Heart ITH embroidery designs in all formats) from Kenny Kreations (www.kennykreations.com) web site. While you are there be sure and check out all of the ITH block designs they have for sale. After you see how easy it is to do this technique, I bet you will want to try some more of them.

The Free Tutorial will give you a basic supply list. Be sure to print the tutorial and bring it to class with you.
This class is for every embroidery machine. The free designs come in 4", 5" & 6" sizes.

| Wildflowers Quilt
 
This is a machine embroidery applique quilt. It has two sets of designs, one for the 4 x 4 hoop and one for the 5 x 7 hoop. The embroidery designs are very well done with lots of detail. There are quilt instructions for each size. It's a fun and easy quilt to make with the help of your embroidery machine. They are beautiful done in batiks, but color and fabric choices are all yours. Both quilts are fat quarter friendly.

BOM - Big Book of Quilt Blocks
The Big Book of Quilt Blocks includes instructions for all the blocks in five of Thimbleberries favorite block-of-the-month quilt patterns:

Circle of Nine

The Desert Sage Quilt Guild and Stitchin' Time have invited Janet Houts to have 2 more classes here on March 16th and 17th. There were many people that didn't get to take advantage of her class last time, so now you have a second chance. The quilts that came out of the previous class were fantastic and we are looking forward to seeing the new ones.
