The Bridges Express Recovery Center is officially open!
First Lady Anita Perry marks the opening of a new recovery option for patients from the greater Austin community

Texas First Lady Anita Perry joined health care providers and other invited guests to officially open The Bridges Express Recovery Center at Marbridge on Tuesday, June 8. The new center strengthens the capabilities of Marbridge to offer skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services to patients from the surrounding area.

The Bridges Express Recovery Center will provide a homelike environment and serves as a new resource for hospitals and other health care providers to refer patients who need additional time and care in order to recover from stroke, surgery or other medical treatments. The homelike environment and a new, 1200-square-foot rehabilitation facility provide attractive advantages over returning home directly after hospitalization.
