What a champion!
Tom Raycraft continues to bring home the gold
Tom swims

Tom Raycraft continues to be one of the oldest athletes to compete for Marbridge and often times of all Special Olympics competitions. The Fall Classic State Aquatics competition in mid-October was no exception. In his final race, the 25-meter freestyle, Tom was up against much younger male athletes--none of them older than 29--and he won the gold medal!

Congratulations, Tom!
We appreciate your financial support!

Fall Fest ushers in the holiday season!
Halloween at the RanchIt was fun, food, song and dance at the Senior Dorm activity room as residents and staff alike donned Halloween costumes for a Fall Fest party. From left: Ronnie Reed, Esmeralda Beltran, HR assistant; Barbara Bush, admissions coordinator; and Daniel Hale.

Villa Fall FestThe Villa Fall Fest provided plenty of fun activities, like this bean bag toss that Larry Hale is trying. Residents from all across the campus make a pilgrimage to the Villa on the last Friday of each October for this fall holiday tradition.

Fall Fest at the Villa launches the holiday season at Marbridge with lively games, snacks and fun costumes. This year, Ranch residents threw their own party in the Senior Dorm activity room. They danced and sang to karaoke and then joined other residents at the Villa for even more good times.

Residents are also enjoying football season, plus other outings including the Renaissance Festival. They also look forward to the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

A scriptural music gift for each choir member!

CD giftTamara Harper, left, our musical and spiritual instructor, hands Steve Carlson one of 30 CD's given to choir members to help them memorize Bible verses.

Many residents enjoy taking Bible study classes, so the members of the choir were excited to receive their very own copy of musical scripture CD's provided by the Seeds Family Worship company. Seeds Family Worship sets scripture to music for thousands of families all over the world. The fifth Seeds Family Worship album - The Power of Encouragement - has just been released. In total, Seeds now offers 58 portions of scripture set to music. Many thanks to the Seeds Family Worship for their generous donation!
