Interest in Custom Contact Lenses is on the Rise
Thanks to ongoing research in vision restoration and correction, increased demand for options to fit the irregular cornea, the onslaught of patients entering their presbyopic years, and advancements in contact lens manufacturing technology, custom contact lenses - both GP and soft - are enjoying renewed attention.
In the past two years, Art Optical has aggressively pursued every opportunity to address practitioner and patient needs by enhancing our product line in virtually every area. Learn about  our most recent introductions here - Thinsite 2, So2Clear, Intelliwave, Renovation E, Biexpert, Paragon CRT Dual Axis, or log-on to to find up-to-the minute product news as it becomes available.
Due to the market size, an obvious area of focus is presbyopia; however, we are equally dedicated to filling the needs of patients who find themselves in a small demographic, with a big need for help. Corneal irregularities are best managed with custom lenses, and providing unlimited options for practitioners who fit these patients is our goal. Whether you have a large specialty lens practice, or see these situations only occasionally, we're here to assist you with a level of quality and customer care that many doctors find unequalled.
If you've steered away from GP's or custom soft lenses in the past, or have a habit of referring irregular cornea patients on, we encourage you to take another look at the opportunties and rewards of custom lens fitting. Practitioner resources and training options abound, and as always, our certified lens fitting consultants are available to guide you through the process. We look forward to working with you soon!
Biexpert lens added to growing list of options for presbyopes

Biexpert logoArt Optical is the first U.S. laboratory to manufacture the Biexpert GP bifocal lens, a translating design from Paris that features slab-off technology. The non-truncated, alternating vision bifocal design is a great option for patients who require precise near acuity, and is a nice addition to our ever-growing presbyopic lens line-up. To learn more about prescribing and fitting the Biexpert lens, view the Biexpert video online, or contact Customer Care to request a Biexpert DVD.
