The 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) adjourned last Saturday after spending eight days of discernment and deliberations in Pittsburgh. Four commissioners, one young adult advisory delegate, and one overture advocate from the Presbytery of Cincinnati actively participated. For details, visit the presbytery's website. |

CHPC to host World Choir Games Concert | |

Reserve July 11 (7-9:30pm) for a FREE Friendship Concert at College Hill Presbyterian Church, 5742 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 452224. FREE Friendship Concerts will be held during the World Choir Games, at 35 venues throughout Greater Cincinnati. Arts Revival of College Hill (ARCH) and College Hill Presbyterian Church (CHPC) teamed up and applied to host one of the Concerts. Three choirs from the Games will sing at CHPC on Wednesday, July 11th: Two regional ones (Cincinnati Camerata and Hillsboro High School Symphonic Choir) and an international one (the Payap University Choir from Chaing Mai, Thailand). |

Marina is the general director of Al-Harah Theater, a nonprofit organization based in Beit Jala, Palestine, which produces theater that has the potential to change the lives of those who make it and those who watch it. They work with children, young people and women in marginalized areas in the West Bank, using theater to make positive change in the community and to create a generation of people who express themselves artistically and freely.
At this point, we don't have Marina's arrival and departure time, but know that she is already committed for Sunday, October 21.
